We will work in partnership to build a cross-sector movement, creating a society that understands, champions, and delivers effective youth work for all. With an open network of over 8000 youth organisations and nation partners, we are focused on unlocking youth work as the catalyst of change that is needed now more than ever.

What an incredible evening. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the UK Youth Gala Dinner 2026: Young Voices Here & Now.

At the heart of the evening were Alisha and Shifa, who spoke incredibly about their experiences and the impact youth work has had on their lives. Thank you both for sharing your voices and reminding us all why youth work matters.

We also heard from UK Youth President Nigel Mansell CBE, while Thomas Forrester expertly led our live auction, helping to raise vital funds for UK Youth.

🎉 That’s a wrap on the Summer Jobs Programme 2026!

Our Summer Jobs Programme has come to an end, with celebration events taking place across England to recognise and celebrate the achievements of all the young people who took part. 👏

This year, over 650 young people took part in a paid work placement, spending time with local employers and gaining valuable experience of the world of work.

Throughout their placements, each young person was supported by a dedicated youth worker, helping them make the most of the opportunity, overcome challenges and build confidence along the way.

And it’s about so much more than a job. Young people have developed new skills, built their confidence, grown their networks and taken important steps towards their future careers. 💪

We’re incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and hugely grateful to all the youth workers, employers and partners who have supported them throughout the programme.

We're pleased to see Government announce the expansion of the Young Futures Hubs programme, with a further 42 Hubs being established across England. This is another positive step: young people need direct access to trusted, local services, including mental health support and employment opportunities.

The Hubs should build on the youth work already taking place in communities. By meeting young people where they are and strengthening that existing infrastructure, we can ensure they have access to the relational support they need to navigate today's challenges.

Our recommendations speak directly to how the Hubs should continue to be designed around what's already there in communities.

Youth work is critical to the success of Young Futures Hubs. Youth workers play a central role in building trusted relationships with young people and providing consistent, accessible support. By working alongside other services within the Hubs, they can continue to create safe spaces where young people build confidence, connection, purpose, and joy.
