NOTHING HAS CHANGED!

The word “ceasefire” may have changed the headlines, but it has not ended the suffering.

Our brothers and sisters in Gaza continue to face bombardment, displacement, restricted aid and unimaginable hardship.

As global attention changes, we must remain focused.

Allah's Messenger ﷺ said:
"A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim..."
Sahih al-Bukhari 2442

Our Ummah has rights upon us.

When our brothers and sisters are in need, we have a duty to respond where we can.
Keep Gaza in your du'as. Keep giving. Keep standing with them.

The Qur’ān speaks of an inexhaustible truth that is timeless.
Allāh relates this phenomenon in a way that we can visualise. And that is the giving of life to a once barren earth.

A barren earth. Then rain falls. Life returns.

This year, we witnessed it ourselves as dry, parched land began to revive with the very first drops of rain.

But this verse carries an even deeper reminder.

Just as Allah brings the dead earth back to life, every one of us will one day be brought back before Him.

The oppressed will have their justice.

And the QUESTION we will be asked:

What did you do?

What does your answer look like?!

Basic Dignity in Gaza is Unaffordable
The main obstacle remains the Israeli blockade on Gaza

The Messenger ﷺ said:
“…Indeed, your blood, your wealth, your honour, is as sacred for you as the sacredness of this day of yours…” Jami’ at-Tirmidhi

Reflect:
- Imagine sharing a toilet with hundreds of strangers
- Imagine only having a cloth as the door and walls
- Imagine how it feels for disabled people trying to fulfil a basic human need within an impossible environment

They deserve much better from us. We have a duty to maintain their dignity!

A Blessed Moment for Dua

The Prophet ﷺ told us there is a moment on Fridays when no dua is rejected.

Gaza continues to bleed. Surviving is a daily struggle.

Let this precious hour be dedicated to them this Friday.

🤲 Let us beg Allah to grant them safety, relief, and justice.

What would you pay to give your wife and children privacy?

In Gaza, even a toilet seat has become a luxury.
A used toilet seat can cost around $503

Families are forced to use makeshift toilets with little privacy, poor sanitation and no sense of safety.

For women and children, the loss of privacy is especially painful.

Poor sanitation brings further danger. Diarrhoea, skin diseases and hepatitis are spreading in conditions where basic hygiene is almost impossible.

Everyone deserves basic dignity.

Every penny you donate, give our brothers and sisters the dignity and independence too purchase what they need most.
