🚨 MULLIGAN’S BAR MANCHESTER SERIOUS CONCERNS 🚨

The day after our protest, myself and my family were refused service at Mulligan’s Bar. What raises even more questions is this: the same bouncers involved were present again despite not usually working Sundays.

On multiple occasions, I requested that three door staff show their SIA badges. While badges appeared to be worn, they were deliberately turned around so the details were not visible to the public. This is not acceptable and raises clear compliance issues.

We will now be escalating this matter formally. We are seeking accountability for the conduct of these door staff and expect appropriate action to be taken, including review of their licensing and enforcement measures where breaches are identified.

Enough is enough. We will not accept being treated differently.

If anyone has experience dealing with situations like this or can offer guidance on next steps, please message me directly.

This was filmed the day after the protest in Manchester.

While I was there, I took the time to visit Miller & Carter to ask direct questions about discrimination.

The door was open, so I went in and spoke with a manager who couldn’t clearly answer a simple question: do you believe in discrimination?

However, a member of staff behind the counter did speak honestly. She said she does not believe in discrimination but also made the point, “I have children to look after.”

To me, that says a lot. It suggests she knows what goes on but cannot risk losing her job. That reality shouldn’t be ignored. I respect her for being willing to say that on camera, because many people feel the same but stay silent.

I then went on to speak with the general manager to see why is this happening across the UK to Gypsies & Travellers !

Also, if you have been refused entry to any of these venues or been told to pay upfront which is not there policy which is owned by Mitchells & Butlers.

OUR CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER — THIS IS OUR MOMENT THAY CANT TAKE AWAY FROM US !!!

This message goes out to every Gypsy & Traveller organisation, every supporter, and every person who says they stand with our community.

If you represent Gypsies and Travellers you should be there.
If you support our people you should be there.
No matter where you live in the UK — you should be there.

I am travelling from London to Manchester to stand up for what is right and I know many more will be making that same journey. Distance is not an excuse when it comes to our children’s future.

Do not let this moment slip through our fingers change must start from somewhere and that somewhere is tomorrow in Manchester 💯🙏

Because the truth is simple: without numbers, nothing changes. Without unity, we are ignored. And if we stay silent, they will continue to overlook us like they always have.

We all know the reality.
Being refused from places we’ve never stepped foot in.
Being judged before we even speak.
Being shamed walking in and humiliated having to walk out this happens to our children up-to our grandparents this ain’t on.

This is happening across the UK, and yet those in power the government, the authorities, the establishments turn a blind eye like this ain’t happening where is our human rights ?

We are one of the last communities where discrimination is still openly tolerated.

That ends when we stand together.

I understand there are feuds, disagreements, and history between families but tomorrow is bigger than that. This is about every single one of us. This is about our children and the future they deserve.

To those with a voice — influencers, public figures, people with platforms now is your time. Show up. Go live. Let the world see where you stand. Be proud of who you are.

Because too many of our people have felt forced to hide their identity. To change their names. To stay quiet just to survive.

That is not how it should be.

Do not let anyone silence us.
Do not let anyone shame us.
Do not let anyone take away our pride.

We are a strong community. A proud community. A fighting community.
And now it’s time to prove it.

Stand up. Stand together.
Do this for your children.
Do this for our future. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is a message to everyone in our community.

At our last protest in Manchester, we had around 300-400 people stand together. That was Good but it’s not enough. If we truly want change, we need thousands this time to stand up and protest for what’s right no more to tier justice Discrimination to one is Discrimination to all.

Change doesn’t happen from watching. It happens when people show up.

Respect to Tommy Joyce for leading us through Manchester, and big respect to Connor John Hamer for bringing his wagon and proudly showing our culture through Manchester city. That’s who we are and we are not ashamed of it.

But being treated differently because of who we are should never be accepted.

Don’t sit back and say, “I wish I went.”
Don’t say, “I should have been there.”
If you want change then “Simple be there”

Take one day out of your life to stand up for yourself & your children, and there future.

I want to say thank you to this young man for speaking out and making it clear that what has been happening to our community is wrong. Your support means a lot, and the fact you’re willing to stand beside us this Saturday does not go unnoticed.

This message also goes out to everyone in the settled community — you are more than welcome to come and stand with us. We are simply human beings trying to live our lives, yet we continue to face division and discrimination.

To everyone who plans to attend and support us, thank you. Your presence matters let’s stand as one not stand against each other 💯🤝

If change is going to happen, it starts now and it starts this Saturday.

This was the Station 🚉 where Gypsies and Travellers was ran out of Manchester. But it’s become much bigger than that.

Please take a moment to watch this video.

Fair play to Tommy Joyce standing up for what’s right, not just for himself but for all of us. And look at the moment his daughter came in, over the moon seeing her father take a stand. That’s what this is about.

Also look at Reuben Jones standing up for his daughter who was there on the day. You can see exactly how much this means. This is about all our children So we’re asking everyone — be there on Saturday.

Do it for your children — the same way we’re doing it for ours. And for yours too.

Our time to stand up.

Let’s make that change together.🤝

This happened over a year ago, around Christmas time.

Gypsy and Traveller children came into Manchester to enjoy themselves — to meet friends and family they hadn’t seen in a long time. It should have been a positive, happy time. Instead, it turned into a nightmare.

The police already had an operation in place from the night before called
“Operation Sticky”.

The next day, it was claimed this was due to antisocial behaviour but many of us saw the videos. Children on trains singing, laughing, enjoying the moment. That’s not disorder. That’s young people being young.

What followed was unacceptable. Children were removed, manhandled, and forced out of the city. Not “alleged” it happened, and people saw it with their own eyes all over social media.

Travellers are still facing discrimination in Manchester and across the country in all establishments and even by high up councillors and MPs and let’s not forget about these so called newspapers & press who fuel hate towards us daily.

So why does this keep happening?
Why is it ignored?
How much more are we expected to accept?

Our way of life is being stripped away Camping/Travelling, stopping places, land ownership, planning refusals, traditions like horses. One by one they will take everything we stand for and our culture was of life.

Where does it end?

This is about dignity. This is about fairness. This is about our children.

20/04/2026

Over a year ago, our children were brutally attacked by the Manchester police. Since then nothing. No answers, no accountability, just brushed under the carpet. And this isn’t a one-off. This keeps happening again and again.

now you can see a young boy in Manchester being brutally attacked as well. They tried to cover it with an operation called “Sticky,” claiming it was about antisocial behaviour but that operation had already been carried out the night before. That raises serious questions, and it’s not right.

This is why Saturday matters.

As Tommy Joyce said we are not thugs, we are not villains. We are human beings. We have families who don’t deserve to be treated like this.

So to everyone attending do this properly. Stay calm, stay united, and stand with purpose. Let’s show them we can come together the right way and still be heard loud and clear.

Now is the time to stand up. Not with violence, not with hate — but with strength, unity, and truth.

Because we will not be brushed under the carpet. We will not be hidden away. And we will not accept what’s been going on for generations especially when it affects our children.

MANCHESTER - Miller & Carter

This weekend in Manchester, yet another incident has taken place involving members of the travelling community.

Five travelling men attended Miller & Carter with a valid booking. As they entered, they overheard a member of staff say words to the effect of: “travellers have walked in.” From that moment on, it was clear they were not welcome.

Despite confirming their booking, excuses began. Staff then pointed to two of the men wearing tracksuit bottoms. The lads offered to return to their hotel and change immediately but this still wasn’t accepted. Instead, the group was told they could not be seated properly until all members returned, effectively refusing service.

This raises serious questions. Was this really about dress code — or was it another excuse to avoid serving travellers?

Just days earlier, five travelling men were also refused entry at Mulligan’s Bar in Manchester.

This is not isolated. This is a pattern.

We are tired of seeing our community treated differently, labelled, and refused service under excuses. We are protected under the Equality Act 2010, yet time and time again, it feels like those protections are ignored.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

We will be holding a peaceful protest in Manchester next Saturday.

We are asking everyone:
• Share the videos
• Raise awareness
• Stand with us
• Attend and support

This cannot keep happening in 2026.
