BARRY’S SIX MONTHS OF PAIN — AND HER MIRACLE RETURN TO WALKING ❤️

London,Kensal Green,Barry had been suffering with stringfoot for more than six months.

Human hair had become tightly wrapped around both of her legs, tying them together and causing terrible pain.

Her wounds had become infected.

She could barely move.

She couldn’t walk.

For more than six months, Barry had been living with pain that no bird should ever have to endure.

Yet she kept going.

And her mate never abandoned her. He stayed beside her, protected her and remained close to her.

When we received the videos, our hearts broke.

We rushed to rescue her.

The rescue took around one and a half hours because the human hair was deeply and tightly wrapped around her legs.

We carefully removed it and provided Barry with the medical care she desperately needed.

Then came the recovery.

We didn’t simply release her and walk away.

We waited. We cared. We watched her heal.

After 10 days, Barry’s wounds had fully healed.

And then something beautiful happened…

Barry started walking normally again. 🥹🕊️❤️

The bird who had once been unable to walk…

The bird who had suffered for more than six months…

The bird whose legs had been tied together by human hair…

was walking like a normal bird again.

That moment was unforgettable.

From six months of agony…

to freedom.

From infection…

to healing.

From being unable to walk…

to walking freely again. ❤️

Barry was finally freedom.

She flew away with a second chance at life.

This is why we rescue.

This is why we don’t give up.

We Didn’t Just Teach Someone… We Helped Create Another Angel for the Birds. ❤️

Today, our hearts are full.

A compassionate friend reached out to learn how to help birds suffering from stringfoot.

She waited patiently for her training day.

When it arrived, she was understandably nervous. But with gentle guidance, her knowledge and confidence grew quickly.

Soon, she was gently catching injured birds, carefully removing the dangerous threads, giving lifesaving treatment, and releasing them back into the sky.

There is nothing more meaningful than watching someone realise they can end suffering and give life back to a helpless creature.

A new compassionate rescuer is now out in the world, ready to help birds who have no voice and nowhere else to turn.

This is how hope grows.

Human Hair Tied His Legs Together… We Refused to Let Him Die.

WILLIAM MORRIS’S SECOND CHANCE

William Morris was found near Hammersmith Station with human hair wrapped tightly around both of his legs. He couldn’t walk, had already lost one toe, and his remaining toes were at risk.

After several days of searching, we finally rescued him.

Our expert rescuer spent an hour and a half carefully removing every strand of hair, treating his wounds, and saving his remaining toes.

She released William Morris with a loving kiss, a gentle hug, and a blessing.

Three days later, he could walk again. Two weeks later, he was placing his foot down properly. One month later, he was happily walking and eating with his flock.

A huge thank you to the Station Manager at Hammersmith and to all the station staff for their kindness and support.

BOTH HER LEGS WERE TIED TOGETHER 💔

A wonderful woman who protects birds in a park noticed a pigeon that was in great distress.

She saw that both of the pigeon’s legs were tied together with thread. She could not walk at all. Every movement caused pain.

She was so weak and could not move properly. Other birds would peck her and torment her whenever she tried to find food. She lived in fear, hungry and suffering every day.

This compassionate woman refused to ignore her.

She contacted us immediately.

To us, she was an angel. ❤️

We rushed to the park and waited for the pigeon to appear. When she did, our hearts broke. When she tried to eat, the other birds chased and pecked her. She could not walk and could not escape.

We carefully rescued her, removed the thread, cleaned her wounds and gave her much-needed treatment.

🕊️ On day four, she started walking again.

🕊️ By day ten, her wounds were completely healed.

🕊️ For the first time in a long time, she was able to walk freely, eat without fear and escape from danger.

Today, she has her life back.

This rescue was possible because a compassionate woman reached out to show her concern.

But for this pigeon, she is an angel.

London Euston Station’s Forgotten Survivor

Two friends sent us an urgent message about a pigeon struggling to walk at London Euston train station. The bird was in excruciating pain because a stick and human hair were tightly wrapped around her leg.

We searched for hours but couldn’t find her. Heartbroken, we went home, but we returned the next day and finally saw her.

What we found was devastating. She had already lost two toes, and before long, she would have lost her entire foot.

Thankfully, we reached her in time. We removed the stick and hair, cleaned her wounds, and gave her the care she desperately needed.

Today, because people cared and acted, this little survivor has a second chance at life. ❤️🕊️
