💛 WORD OF THE WEEK: PATIENCE 💛

Love is patient.

Patience is waiting without giving up.It’s taking the time to listen. It’s helping someone who’s finding something difficult. It’s giving others the opportunity to learn, grow, and try again.

At GBM Kidz Camp, we know that every child grows at their own pace. Some make friends straight away, while others need a little more time. Some pick up new skills quickly, while others simply need encouragement and patience.

And that’s okay.

This summer, we’ll be encouraging our children to practise patience with themselves and with one another.

Because when we choose patience, we’re choosing love. ❤️

Children aren’t born disciplined. They learn it. Through routines. Through encouragement. Through trying again after making mistakes. Through adults who love them enough to guide them.

This week at GBM Kidz, we’re exploring Discipline.

Not as punishment.

But as the daily choices that help children grow into confident, responsible and resilient young people.

Whether it’s learning a new skill, taking turns, finishing a task, or showing up with a good attitude, discipline helps children become the very best version of themselves.

As the Bible reminds us:

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11
