Sarah and Johnny gave us a warm welcome into .bexley yesterdayGoodGym and I did our first task of litter picking at our local all together.
We learned about how works and decidedGoodGymme members to volunteer and contribute our time to help the community and the environment when we are able.
We are no strangers to litter picking at Lesnes Abbey Woods as we do it regularly on our own but it felt fantastic to do it as a community and learn about other opportunities such as helping elderly people around their homes with various tasks, helping carers at the local hospice, and helping paint classrooms at schools. These are only some of the opportunities, there are more.
Goodgym is about getting fit while helping out.
We get to help and contribute to society while improving our mental and physical health.
Here's to many more tasks done together in the future 🙌
