A very quick supper, the way 🌱

Spelt and fava bean pasta from , cavolo nero, dolce latte, pecans, plenty of extra virgin olive oil and black pepper — finished with Carlin peas for extra texture and fibre.

The clever bit? Jenny had already cooked a big batch of Carlin peas with dried kombu earlier in the day, slow-cooking them in her Wonderbag.

As Jenny says, having a pot of ready-cooked pulses or grains in the fridge makes it incredibly easy to add a handful to soups, salads, roast veg or pasta — adding flavour, texture and fibre to a quick meal.

We’re on the cover of FT Weekend Magazine! 🎉

Ella explores why there’s something so deeply satisfying about food cooked slowly - the rich broths, stews and gloriously brown food that might not always be made for Instagram, but tastes all the better for the time it’s been given.

And, of course, is right at home. After bringing her broth to a boil, Ella wrapped her casserole dish in the Wonderbag and let it work its magic over 24 hours for a gorgeous, rich pho.
