🚨 PUBLIC APPEAL – PROLIFIC BURGLARY TEAM AND BLUE AUDI 🚨

My Local Bobby and TM Eye are seeking the public’s assistance following a series of recent burglaries and attempted burglaries across North London and Hertfordshire, including incidents in and around Highgate, Hadley Wood, Oakwood, Rickmansworth and Goffs Oak.

We believe a prolific and organised team may be responsible. The offenders have targeted residential properties, sometimes using considerable force to gain entry.

A distinctive blue Audi is believed to be connected to these offences. It may be displaying false or cloned registration plates.

We urgently want to hear from anyone who:

* Has seen this Audi parked, abandoned, concealed or being repaired
* Has CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage showing the vehicle or its occupants
* Saw suspicious activity around the affected areas
* Recognises the offenders or knows where the vehicle is being kept
* Has been approached about storing, repairing or disposing of a damaged Audi

Please do not approach the vehicle or its occupants. The group may be dangerous and weapons have reportedly been involved.

Today we say goodbye to Ash from The Fitzrovia Partnership Patrol Team.

Ashley joined My Local Bobby at the beginning of this year and, in a relatively short time, made a huge impact on the team and the area he patrolled.

He consistently showed professionalism, initiative and a strong commitment to supporting businesses, residents and his colleagues.

One of the standout pieces of work during his time with us was Operation Fitzroy, which Ashley helped lead alongside Fitzrovia Supervisor Zak and the wider team.

The operation focused on identifying drug activity, key hotspots, repeat offenders and patterns affecting the area, with intelligence gathered and shared with policing partners and Camden Council.

The wider results from the operation included:
• £2,048 worth of goods recovered
• 4 detentions for breach of CBOs
• 1 arrest for robbery
• 2 arrests for assault and racial abuse
• 1 arrest involving a wanted individual
• 13 detentions for shoplifting, resulting in 5 arrests
• 3 arrests for Failure to Appear
• 1 arrest for pickpocketing

The team also gathered detailed intelligence around drug dealing and drug use, including locations, timings, individuals involved and video evidence of exchanges.

Ashley played an important part in that work and in the wider success of the Fitzrovia team throughout the year.

He became a trusted and valued member of the team, and his contribution will be missed.

Closing Time Check

Bobby Bear is carrying out evening patrols as businesses close for the night.

While checking the high street, they spot a business that has not been properly secured and stay nearby until the issue is sorted.

Our Bobbies do more than respond to incidents. They carry out routine checks, spot risks early, and help protect the businesses and areas they patrol.

Sometimes, one small check prevents a much bigger problem.

Sometimes the most important thing you can do is start a conversation.

This year’s World Su***de Prevention Day continues the theme “Changing the Narrative on Su***de”, encouraging people to challenge stigma, speak more openly and help create environments where people feel able to ask for support.

If you are worried about someone, you do not need to have all the answers.

Listen without judgement.
Take what they say seriously.
Ask directly how they are feeling.

If you are concerned they may be thinking about su***de, it is okay to ask them directly. Mental health guidance advises that talking openly about su***de does not put the idea into someone’s head. It can help them feel less isolated and make it easier to seek support.

If someone is in immediate danger, has attempted su***de or is about to seriously harm themselves, call 999 or go to A&E.

If you or someone you know needs someone to talk to, Samaritans are available free, day or night, on 116 123.

World Su***de Prevention Day is also a reminder to check in on the people around us.

A colleague.
A friend.
A family member.
Someone who has gone quiet.

Tomorrow, the team sets off!

After months of preparation, the Gurkha Trailwalker weekend is finally here.

Rob, Michael, Amadu, Cameron, Ian and Luke will travel to the event site tomorrow evening to register, prepare their kit and get ready for the challenge ahead.

Then on Saturday morning, the four walkers will begin the 100km route across the South Downs.

Training is done.
Planning is done.
Now it is time to put it all into action.

Happy Emergency Services Day 💙

Today we recognise the people behind the 999 response.

From police officers and paramedics to firefighters, control room teams, emergency call handlers and everyone working behind the scenes, our emergency services are there when people need them most.

At My Local Bobby, our teams regularly work alongside emergency services across the areas we patrol, supporting incidents, sharing information, assisting with public safety and helping manage scenes until further support arrives.

We see first-hand the professionalism, calmness and commitment these teams bring to difficult situations every day.

Emergency Services Day is a chance to say thank you to everyone working across the 999 services, and to recognise the work they do to protect communities across the country.

With only a few days to go, we would like to remind everyone why this challenge is so important to us.

Gurkhas have patrolled and protected the residential communities we serve in Highgate and Hampstead for over 15 years.

Their professionalism, discipline and commitment have made a lasting difference to the residents they support.

This weekend, our team will take on the Gurkha Trailwalker in support of The Gurkha Welfare Trust, which helps Gurkha veterans, their families and communities.

The challenge is 100km.
The reason behind it is much bigger.

We are doing this to support a community with a long history of service and a strong connection to the areas we protect.

Your Romford Bobbies on deployment at Romford Station.

Your Romford BID (Business Improvement District) Bobbies have been working alongside station teams to support a focused operation around fare evasion and wider public safety.

The team have been maintaining a visible presence across the station, engaging with passengers and supporting enforcement activity as required.

The operation has averaged around 10 fare evaders identified every hour.

A strong example of partnership working, visible patrols and targeted activity helping support a safer, better managed transport environment.

After months of training, planning and fundraising, the team is nearly at the start line.

This weekend, Rob, Michael, Amadu and Cameron will take on 100km across the South Downs, supported by Ian and Luke throughout the challenge.

The team has already raised an incredible amount for The Gurkha Welfare Trust, and every donation has helped make this campaign something special.
