Retail Theft Disrupted in Romford

Your Romford BID (Business Improvement District) Bobbies, Aman and Mohammad, responded to reports of a suspected theft at a popular health store inside Romford Shopping Centre.

Following information shared over radio, the team quickly located the individual and recovered all stolen goods, with a total value of £246.

Police attended the scene and arrested the suspect after further items, including tools, were located during searches.

A fast response and strong partnership working helping protect local businesses.

Last weekend, your Bobbies attended and patrolled Primrose Hill Carnival, helping keep the event safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone attending.

Primrose Hill Carnival is a long standing community celebration bringing together live music, culture, food and entertainment, attracting large crowds from across London each year.

Throughout the event, your Bobbies maintained a visible presence across the area, supporting public safety, monitoring activity and assisting visitors and local partners where needed.

The feedback received afterwards from organisers was incredible:

“This was the best security that we have ever had.”

“The team were fantastic. Smooth, easy going and very professional.”

A fantastic reflection of the professionalism and approach shown by the team throughout the event.

Who Checks Your Home While You Travel?

When you are away, absence becomes risk.

During travel periods, our Bobbies increase attention to your property. They check entrance ways, side access and gates. Bins and packages are monitored so your home does not appear unoccupied.

Checks are structured and recorded. Any concerns are escalated immediately.

If your home is left empty, small details matter. Regular checks help keep it that way.

Large Scale Retail Theft Disrupted in Stratford-upon-Avon

Your Stratford Upon Avon BID Bobbies responded to reports of a group removing large quantities of cold and flu medication from a popular health and beauty store in a shopping park.

The group were tracked as they moved across the site, entering additional stores and attempting to leave the area. Working with site security and police, your Bobbies located and detained all three individuals.

A trolley full of stolen goods was recovered at the scene, with the suspects admitting the theft.

Police attended and took control of the situation, with all three suspects taken into custody. A fourth individual linked to the group was also detained, with a vehicle seized in connection to the offences.

A total of £679.41 worth of stolen goods was recovered and returned to stores.

Strong coordination. Fast response. Full recovery.

Bobbies of the Month – April 🏆

This month we have a record breaking four Bobbies of the Month!

A huge congratulations to Jon, Kevin, Evander and Curtis for their outstanding actions, professionalism and compassion shown while on duty.

Your Stratford Upon Avon Business Improvement District Bobbies Jon and Kevin were recognised following an incident in Stratford-upon-Avon where they responded to a collapsed male outside a hotel. Jon immediately began CPR until paramedics arrived, while Kevin assisted by checking vital signs and supporting emergency services at the scene. Afterwards, both officers continued supporting members of the local rough sleeping community following the incident. The feedback received from the community regarding their professionalism and compassion was exceptional.

Your Ipswich Central Bobbies Evander and Curtis were recognised following an incident in Ipswich where they spoke with and supported a male during a serious mental health crisis. Through their calmness, humanity and judgement, they were able to help guide him away from taking his own life and encourage him to speak with his family. The feedback received afterwards highlights the true impact your Bobbies can have on the communities they support.

All four officers should be incredibly proud of themselves. These incidents show that being a Bobby is about far more than patrols and enforcement. It is about protecting people, supporting communities and being there when it matters most.
