Drop-in silence is a new type of activity at the Quaker Meeting House, 52 St Martin's Lane. It is open to people of any faith or none. There is no charge. Permission has been indefinitely extended by popular demand to open the Meeting House every Friday from 5.30pm until 7.00pm. Between these times, you are invited to enter quietly into the meeting room whenever you like, to sit with others in sil
ence, and then to leave quietly whenever you like. Westminster Quaker Meeting House is an oasis of calm in central London; Drop-in silence is an opportunity for anyone to experience that calm. Many people find it easier to practice silent reflection, meditation or mindfulness in the company of others. Some people just want a few minutes' break from their busy lives.
