🍺 BREWERY ANNOUNCEMENT: STRANGERS BREWING 🍺

We’re delighted to have Strangers Brewing back as one of our suppliers for this year’s Linlithgow Round Table Beer Fest.

They’ve been a big supporter of the festival and this year they’re bringing a cracking mix of cask and keg beers:

• Lone Goose 4.0%
A hoppy golden ale, easy drinking with plenty of flavour. Also gluten free.

• Challenger Deep 4.2%
A smooth, rich stout with plenty of depth. One for the dark beer fans.

• Five Wells 4.6%
A proper Scottish 80/- with a malty, traditional character.

• Cockleroi 3.8%
An easy-drinking amber
ale with a bit more malt and colour.

• Modern Pale 4.0%
A hazy, hoppy pale ale served on keg. Fresh, modern and very drinkable.

• Bramble Pie 4.8%
A blackberry saison, fruity, slightly different and exactly the sort of thing a Beer Fest is for. Gluten free and contains lactose.

They’ll also be supplying Lithgae Lager, New Shoots IPA and Clean Slate alcohol-free beer in cans, so there’ll be even more Strangers options available on the day.

🍺 ONE MONTH TO GO 🍺

We’re officially one month away from the Linlithgow Round Table Beer Festival 2026 at the Burgh Halls on Saturday 3rd October.

The beer list is starting to look dangerously good, with around 20-25 different beers planned, plenty of Scottish breweries, a proper mix of cask and keg, lagers, IPAs, darker beers, a few more unusual ones, plus a couple of ciders.

We’ve also taken last year’s feedback on board, so yes, there will be more lager this time 😂

There’s still loads to announce over the next few weeks, including brewery reveals, the final beer list, live music and more.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, with the money raised going back into supporting local charities, groups and good causes around Linlithgow.

📅 Saturday 3rd October
📍 Linlithgow Burgh Halls
🎟 Entry: £5
🍺 Beer cards: £15, giving you the equivalent of 3 pints to use however you like, with pours available in thirds, halves or full pints

Get it in the diary. One month and counting. 🍻

Curry night - Kicking off 2026/2027

❗VENUE CHANGE - NOW AT LINLITHGOW CRICKET CLUB ❗

New programme, same basic strategy:
get everyone in a room, feed them, add beer and see what happens.

Aged 18-45?

We’re heading to Linlithgow Cricket Club on Monday 7th September to kick off the 2026/2027 Linlithgow Round Table programme with a curry night.

If you’re a guy aged 18–45 and you’ve ever thought “I probably should get out the house more”, this is your sign.

No speeches.
No awkward networking.
No one asking you to share an interesting fact about yourself.

Just curry, drinks, a bunch of decent guys and probably at least one idea that seems perfectly sensible after two pints.

For many years, the modern male has been confined to the same familiar surroundings.

The office 👔
The sofa 🛋
The DIY aisle of B&Q 🛠

Occasionally venturing as far as M&S for picky bits, where he can often be found staring blankly into the reduced section. But every now and then... He is reintroduced to the wild 🌴

Watch as he cautiously approaches unfamiliar territory. A kayak 🚣‍♂️ A climbing wall 🧗‍♂️ A charity challenge 💪 Even a hot air balloon 🎈 At first, he's unsure.

Then something remarkable happens...
He starts laughing.

He meets other males with similar interests.
He remembers what it's like to do something purely because it's fun.

Soon, confidence returns. Friendships form. New adventures are planned.

The transformation it seems, is complete. Nature, is healing.

Round Table: successfully returning men to their natural habitat... one adventure at a time.

Fancy leaving the sofa behind? Come and see what your local Round Table is up to 🌿🍻

🎶🍻 PARTY AT THE PALACE WEEKEND! 🍻🎶

To everyone heading along on Saturday or Sunday, have an absolute belter!

Enjoy the music, enjoy the atmosphere, look after your pals and try not to make too many decisions you’ll regret by Monday morning. 😂

And remember, hydration is important. Apparently beer doesn’t count. 👀🍺

Have a brilliant weekend from all of us at Linlithgow Round Table ❤️

Happy Marches Eve!

As the town gets ready for another Marches Day, here's a look back at some moments from the 2024 celebrations.

Whether you're marching, stewarding, playing in a band, riding, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, we hope everyone has a fantastic day tomorrow.

Before we do it all again, tell us – what's your favourite part of Marches Day?

We'll see on the route tomorrow.

Safe oot, safe in!

What a day. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Linlithgow Round Table Fun Day 2026 today.

After spending the week watching weather forecasts and wondering what the Scottish summer had in store for us, it was fantastic to see so many families and friends enjoying the afternoon together.

From the inflatables and sumo wrestling to the stalls, activities, and incredible BBQ, it was brilliant to see the rugby club packed with people having fun and making memories.

A special thank you goes to all of our stallholders, community groups, volunteers and supporters who helped make the day possible. Events like this only happen because of the time, effort and generosity of so many people behind the scenes.

We're also incredibly grateful to Linlithgow Rugby Club for hosting the event and to everyone who helped with the set-up, running and clear-up throughout the day.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. Community events like this can only continue when local people get behind them, and we're lucky to live in a town that does exactly that.

If you took any photos today, we'd love to see them in the comments below! 📸

And finally...

Nice try, weather. 🥊☀️
