✨Competition time – The Adventures of Rosie✨
Are you aged 6–13 and enjoy writing stories or drawing pictures? We’d love you to take
part in a special competition from Linlithgow Ladies Choir.
We are looking for stories and drawings to illustrate our songs, which should all feature
Rosie, a fun-loving wee dog from Linlithgow.
Rosie loves adventure and travel, and she also loves the countryside and spending time
with her friends. Can you imagine some of the things she might get up to?
We are looking for stories of up to 500 words, with or without a drawing, or simply a
drawing by itself, on any of the concert’s themes. The ten winning stories will be read as
part of the concert on Saturday 12th September, and winning artwork displayed, plus tickets to the concert for you
and your family.
The themes are:
• Friendship
• A starry night
• A singing bird
• Flowers
• A magic carpet
• Mermaids
• Flying a kite
• Cherry trees
• Scotland’s countryside
• Kenya
• Mary Queen of Scots
Entries can be posted in an envelope to:
