Linlithgow Ladies Choir Community choir open to all ladies who enjoy singing. Community based choir open to all ladies who enjoy singing. Reading music is helpful but not essential.

We have a varied repertoire, perform for local events and undertake at least one choir concert per year as well as supporting charitable events. Linlithgow Ladies Choir is open to all ladies over the age of 18, it meets on Monday evenings, 7pm - 9pm.

Join us at our autumn concert and hear about Rosie's adventures.

We've asked local children for stories and pictures of what Linlithgow's little black dog, Rosie, has been getting up to and we're providing the soundtrack. šŸŽ¶

āœØCompetition time ā€“ The Adventures of RosieāœØ

Are you aged 6ā€“13 and enjoy writing stories or drawing pictures? Weā€™d love you to take
part in a special competition from Linlithgow Ladies Choir.

We are looking for stories and drawings to illustrate our songs, which should all feature
Rosie, a fun-loving wee dog from Linlithgow.

Rosie loves adventure and travel, and she also loves the countryside and spending time
with her friends. Can you imagine some of the things she might get up to?

We are looking for stories of up to 500 words, with or without a drawing, or simply a
drawing by itself, on any of the concertā€™s themes. The ten winning stories will be read as
part of the concert on Saturday 12th September, and winning artwork displayed, plus tickets to the concert for you
and your family.

The themes are:
ā€¢ Friendship
ā€¢ A starry night
ā€¢ A singing bird
ā€¢ Flowers
ā€¢ A magic carpet
ā€¢ Mermaids
ā€¢ Flying a kite
ā€¢ Cherry trees
ā€¢ Scotlandā€™s countryside
ā€¢ Kenya
ā€¢ Mary Queen of Scots
