Weekend Figurative Workshop

Join us for a creative 2 days exploring the portrait and the figure. We’ll be making drawings and paintings from different models throughout the weekend.

📅 June 13 & 14
⏰ 10 - 4pm each day
📍Grafton House, 32 Newland, Lincoln, LN1 1XJ

Course Breakdown:
The Portrait
Focus on the static portrait, with longer poses to capture the portrait. Learn essential techniques in measuring, proportions, and tonal work to create compelling figurative work.
Life Drawing
Working from a life model to explore the human form using various poses.
The Figure
Making gestural studies of the full figure, including slightly more dynamic poses. This will encourage you to bring movement and energy into your artwork.

Cost:
£120 for the full weekend
£70 for one day
