🧶🍂 What a wonderfully crafty afternoon across the county! 🎃✂️

Our brand-new Lincoln Crochet Group welcomed 10 new members, all complete beginners! Within just an hour, everyone had learnt the basics and created their very own simple crochet squares — what an achievement!

Over in Louth, our Friendship Group was getting into the spooky season with some fantastic autumn and Halloween crafts. Plenty of creativity, conversation and, of course, lots of laughs along the way!

As we’ve welcomed lots of new followers recently, we thought it was about time we introduced you to the team behind Age UK Lincolnshire’s Events & Activities! 🎉

Our team works right across the county, providing inclusive weekly activities for adults aged 50+ — from physical and social activities to creative and learning opportunities. There really is something for everyone! 🏃‍♀️🎨🎶📚

We don’t stop at weekly activities! We also love putting on one-off events such as Rock & Roll Bingo, live music nights, day discos, seasonal parties and lots more.

We’re all passionate about making sure everyone feels welcome and included, thinking outside the box and creating opportunities for people to try something new, meet new people and, most importantly, have a good time! 😊

We firmly believe that the more you do in your 50s and 60s, the more fun you have in your 70s and beyond! 🎉

And we’re always open to new ideas — so if there’s an activity, event or something completely different that you’d love to see, tell us! 👇

Who knows… your idea could be our next big event! 🥳

Walking Tennis is a brilliant way to keep playing the game you love at a slower, more accessible pace — or a great opportunity to try something completely new and have a bit of fun along the way!

What a fantastic Lincolnshire Day we’ve had here at Age UK Lincolnshire.

Our guests enjoyed a delicious Lincolnshire Fayre with unlimited tea and coffee and were entertained by the talented Stevie from “Crooney Tunes”.

We enjoyed a Lincolnshire quiz and drew the raffle with Lincolnshire goodies.💛

The afternoon was made particularly special as we’re able to celebrate with Reece on his 93rd birthday!🎂

Big thank you to our wonderful volunteers for serving this afternoon, to John and the allotment team for providing flowers from our allotment to adorn the tables, and to Kirstie, Nat and Adam for the amazing Lincolnshire produced meal.

Happy Lincolnshire Day.
