JOIN THE SOUNDLINCS ADVISORY PANEL

If you are an adult passionate about music, interested in community initiatives, or want your voice heard, our Advisory Panel is an opportunity to contribute, connect with others, and make a real difference.

Panel members will meet online once a month, taking part in 9 sessions over a one-year commitment.

How it works:

Learning: Gain insight into music delivery, charity management, and creative health.

Sharing: Bring your musical experiences, ideas, and local community insights.

Advisory: Provide constructive feedback to help shape project design and future delivery.

Last Friday, we hosted our annual SoundLincs Conference at Lincoln Bishop University, bringing together our music facilitators, core delivery team, and members of our Board.

It was a fantastic opportunity to step back and reflect on the breadth of work delivered across Lincolnshire over the past year, as well as looking ahead to what is next.

During the session, the team covered:

Project reviews, impact data, and participant evaluations.

Plans for new and upcoming programmes launching later this year.
Important safeguarding updates and procedural reviews.

A hands-on instrument testing session, where our facilitators explored new equipment and creative approaches to take into community groups.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed their energy and ideas.

For our August Quote of the Month, we are sharing feedback from one of our Autism Music People (A.M.P) participants in Horncastle.

The A.M.P project provides free music workshops inclusively designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of autistic participants. Through participant-led, accessible music-making, the project offers a welcoming environment where individuals can explore creativity at their own pace, learn new skills, and connect with others.
