📣 Freelance Filmmaker Wanted (Jan–Apr 2026)
We’re looking for a skilled videographer/editor to help us tell the stories behind the East of England Innovation Launchpad.

Creative Rebel CIC has been commissioned by the UK Food Valley and Lincolnshire County Council to produce a series of impact films across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk — and we’d love to bring someone on board who can capture these journeys with care, creativity and clarity.

Contract: Jan–Apr 2026
Fee: £3,500 + 45p per mile (up to 2,000 miles)
Deadline to apply: 13 Dec 2025
Interviews: Early Jan (TBC)

A couple of places have just opened up on our Futuremaker cohort starting Monday 15th September – and you’ve still got time to join us!

Futuremaker is a five-day, hands-on experience for young changemakers aged 16–25. Across the week, you’ll:

🌱 Take on a real challenge set by an organisation making a difference in the world – and pitch your ideas to them at the end of the week
💡 Build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills
🎓 Gain the SFEDI Level 1 Award in Enterprising Skills and Employability – a nationally recognised qualification
🤝 Connect with like-minded young people who want to make a difference

We've got some great news! Futuremaker is back thanks to the National Grid Community Matters Fund.

We're running 5 cohorts during August and September. If you're ready to make a difference and become a changemaker in your community, then the Futuremaker programme is for you! It's designed for individuals aged 16+ who are passionate about positive social change. It's a week-long programme working on real community challenges and gets you a Level 1 Award in Enterprising Skills and Employability!

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ RIVER LIGHT FESTIVAL ZINE MAKING WORKSHOP 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

📢 We are delighted to announce that some of our members have organised a Q***r Stories Zine Making workshop next week on 14th June, 10-12pm at the Sleaford Library. We send our massive thanks to for this fantastic opportunity!

🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 As part of Pride Month, celebrate local LGBTQIA+ stories and experiences through creative ‘zine’ making activities.

For Pride Month, the workshop will invite LGBTQIA+ community members to share stories about their experiences living in Sleaford, with the opportunity to create zines & share their oral histories. These conversations will foster a sense of belonging & pride within the community while providing a space for individuals to reflect on their past & imagine what the future of what Sleaford could look like. People aged over 16 can participate, fostering intergenerational dialogue & strengthening community ties.
