Hello MagPyes!
Sorry been quiet again for a bit, I've been busy behind the scenes thinking up things for 2026 - but it's flying by so fast!
Anyway.. here's one to get your opinions please...
🛶Boating on Boultham Park Lake🛶

This would have to be a paid for event but...

This time of night we normally push out our pictures post of people having a day of fun participating in activities at our lake in Lincoln.

Tonight... is different... we would like to extend our condolences to the family & friends of local lad Declan Sawyer who was involved in the incident yesterday at Swanholme Lakes in Lincoln.

Please, Please, Please, encourage any young people you know who wish to get into the water this summer to contact us and in return for watching a short video produced by the RNLI on water safety we will provide a voucher for a supervised water session.

We are running a scheduled water safety session for Lincolnshire County Council Youth Services later in the year as we do each year and access to this can be gained by speaking with your youth worker if attending the local youth centres.

Please take a minute to think of the family and friends at this difficult time and enjoy a picture of a dragon fly we took earlier at the lake.

Oooo. I've just been informed story time at the library is starting back up and been sent this wonderful poster. I thought it might interest some of our mini explorers!

Really hope some of the babies this spring survive. We pop down most days but we see them - then they're gone. It is the circle of life. But there's a few ways we can help.
1) keep dogs on leads
2) don't chase or scare the birds
3) feed them a rich variety of foods
4) don't get in-between young and adults

Did you know....
It's 🌎 Earth day Wednesday 22nd April (tomorrow)

If you'd like to join us for a morning of helping our earth we'll be at boultham park play park for a 1030 start - little litter pick!

Bring your own pickers or borrow from us.
Bring your own gloves and smiles!

There's a group of home educators meeting too so I thought it would be nice for all ages :)

Might even catch a glimpse of some baby ducklings too!
