Shetland Bereavement Support Service

Shetland Bereavement Support Service Providing free and confidential, one to one bereavement support, for those living in Shetland who are struggling to cope following a bereavement.

SBSS provides specialist bereavement support for children and adults living in Shetland. The death of a loved one can be devastating and bereavement affects people in different ways - each bereavement is unique, there is no right or wrong way to feel. Emotions can be overwhelming and it can be difficult adjusting to life without the person who has died. Talking and sharing your emotions with a bereavement support worker can give you time and space to work through your grief and feelings.
