Leeds Other Stories News: 🌸 m a d i i 🌸 aka Maddie Ivanov will be joining the team as our assistant director.

Maddie has gone from strength to strength as part of the Fall Into Place community, & it is wonderful to invite her into this role to support our exciting new community show.

What's Leeds Other Stories?

It's a new community show FiP are making at Leeds Libraries (Leeds City Library) about people's stories that often go unheard.

Join the cast of our new community show, 'Leeds Other Stories'!
We are making at Leeds Libraries (Leeds City Library) this autumn.

It will champion stories of people often left out, such as unpaid caregivers, refugees or asylum seekers, and LGBTQ+ people. We welcome all community performers, particularly if you are part of these communities.

We will weave our own stories with news from the Leeds Other Paper: an alternative Leeds newspaper that ran from 1974-1994. And together, we will create a unique performance that uses all the different spaces in Leeds City Library. Loud, proud, and full of joy!

The Fall Into Place crew had a great day out at Chapel FM Arts Centre, where the Solace, Generation Squad, & Joyful Drama groups recorded new radio plays on the theme More in Common.

We have a new addition to the FiP family! Welcome, Bobbie (Robin Lyra Shaw). She weighed 6.5 and is doing really well. Also, Sarah Shaw is doing great.

Whilst Sarah is away on maternity leave, Si Brewis will be managing the team and projects at FiP.

Calling Older LGBTQAI+ People In Leeds(ish).
Creative Voices is an arts group for older LGBTQAI+ people in Leeds. This spring/summer, they are taking part in Fall Into Place's UnHeard Leeds project, & it's a great time to join & get involved.
