🌍 Be Part of Something Big. Join Us as a Volunteer!

This summer, you can become part of an international volunteer staff team supporting 16–17 year olds from 15 different countries as they explore global issues and build lifelong friendships.

At a CISV Seminar Camp, young people take the lead—shaping their own discussions, activities, and solutions on topics like human rights, diversity, sustainability, and active citizenship.

As a volunteer, you will:
✨ Support youth‑led learning
✨ Facilitate dialogue, teamwork & conflict resolution
✨ Help young people develop leadership skills
✨ Contribute to a peaceful, globally‑minded community

All expenses covered — including travel, food, and accommodation.

If you’re passionate about education, global issues, and empowering young people, we’d love for you to join the team!

In 1977, Julie Ayers travelled 2 hrs to join a CISV village in our fabulous city and it changed her life.

She’s written a short story about it here.

It was the annual Quiz night this evening and it’s always a popular event.
Rounds included CISV-themed anagrams, countries/ flags, famous faces, 2025 year round up and everyone’s favourite - the music round.

Congratulations to our winners who were heard to say when forming their team “we need an old person!” They each take home a CISV water bottle (which it sounds like may be used for trading at their summer camps so look out for them). 🏆

Looking for an adventure in 2026? We are looking for volunteer leaders and staff for our international camps.

Are you:

✅ Age 21 and over.

✅ Able to volunteer for a minimum of 1 week (up to 4 weeks).

✅ Open minded and willing to learn about different cultures.

We have had a very busy summer with children going to all parts of the world including Czechia, Italy, Brazil and Ecuador!

Our returning travellers will be joining us for our Annual Afternoon Tea Social and sharing their stories. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in finding out more about CISV.

We will meet at our usual venue in Roundhay, Leeds on Sunday 14th September from 3-5pm and there will be a delicious afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes and scones. 🍰🥪😋
