Twenty steps forward — it has been an incredibly busy and rewarding month so far for our participants at the Humber Job Hub!
We have some massive milestones to celebrate, starting with a huge well done to the 8 people who have officially launched their Volunteering Pathway into Employment journey. Over the coming weeks, they’ll be building skills, gaining training, securing references and connecting with local organisations to bridge the gap into their chosen jobs.
Alongside them, another 12 service users have shared some brilliant progress with us:
🎉 Job Gained: 1 young person started a brand-new job!
🤝 Volunteering Started: 6 people have stepped into volunteering roles to gain that all-important hands-on experience for their next step into paid employment.
🎓 Specialist Training: 1 person completed the essential training required to begin volunteering in the NHS Dementia Unit, a fantastic achievement for a vital role, and another 1 will be starting training with Enviromail to get back into their chosen field.
📝 Interviews Gained: 3 more people have secured interviews and are heading into the interview room with employers.
Every single step forward takes hard work and commitment. We are so proud of what our members are achieving and the dedication they are showing to their futures.
