THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS!
The Swanland Pond Partnership is extremely grateful to Martin May and the other 22 volunteers who helped us cut back the reeds in the pond.
Many thanks also to the village community for keeping the parking bays clear so that we could work safely.

Please leave the Swanland phone box for calls only! 📞 K-COM has warned that stacking books inside is a fire hazard, and if this continues, they may remove the kiosk entirely—which some residents still rely on.
While it's a lovely idea to want to share books, there are already plenty of legitimate Little Free Libraries nearby in Hessle, Kirk Ella, and West Ella. If you have good quality second-hand books to donate, please take them to the Swanland Library instead! 📚 Thank You

Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped with this morning’s whole village litter picking session. It was lovely to see some new faces. We started in bright sunshine, then the rain came and we all got very wet. 👏
