What a way to finish Volunteer Week! 🎉

We headed along to the junior parkrun with the hope of helping them achieve their biggest turnout of children and volunteers ever — and we did it!

Junior parkrun is so important for children, providing a fun, free and inclusive environment where they can be active, build confidence, make friends and develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime. It’s wonderful to see so many young people enjoying exercise and being part of their local community.

A huge thank you to everyone at Hanwood Park Run Club for their support, and to the junior parkrun team for welcoming us along.

Thank you to everyone who donated for our cakes too — together, we raised an amazing £157! 🍰💛

Finally, thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us about volunteering. It was fantastic to meet so many people and share the difference volunteering can make in our community.

What a fantastic way to end Volunteer Week! 🙌✨

Thank you so much to the Michael Guest Charitable Trust for their funding so we can treat our volunteers and to thank them for all they do. Thank you also to The Bull Pen for hosting us and providing such a lovely venue.

We were delighted to see the unveiling of the new North Northants First Responders training vehicle last night and are excited that their first outing will be at our Family Fun Day on Sunday 14th June. Come along and see demonstrations from them along with lots more activities!

Watch this space for more joint ventures with them too!
