Your 2027 'Love Morecambe Bay' calendar is here!

12 stunning images of Morecambe Bay taken by people like you, this fundraising calendar will help you get organised for 2027 and raise vital funds for the Bay.

Huge thanks to all the photographers (amateur and professional) who submitted photos for the calendar competition. We had the difficult task of choosing only 12 calendar images from 70 entries! We couldn't have made this calendar without you.

Join us for a guided walk through Silverdale's rich history and stunning landscapes.

We'll take a leisurely two-and-a-half-mile stroll from Jack Scout to Jenny Brown's Point pausing to enjoy the beautiful scenery while uncovering the hidden stories and fascinating events that shaped the area.

We're at two Bay festivals this weekend so why not join us and get involved? Both of these events are family-friendly and with many free activities.

Sat 15th August: Morecambe Maritime Festival
From 12 noon to 5pm, we'll be running free, drop-in creative activities. Come and see us.

Get creative with Morecambe Bay Partnership at this year’s 🌊 Join us for free, family-friendly drop-in workshops in the run-up to the festival and on Saturday 15 August 2026.

📍 Morecambe Library
🗓️ Thursday 13 August, 2–4pm
🗓️ Friday 14 August, 10am–12pm
All ages welcome.

Help create a collective artwork and have a go at making bracelets, fidget toys and bookmarks using plant material to create traditional cordage. No experience needed — just drop in and get involved!

- Arnside and Silverdale Landscape Connections -
The National Lottery Heritage Fund today announces that Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape will receive over £1million in development funding through its ambitious Landscape Connections initiative to revive and connect the UK's most treasured landscapes.

The funds for this new partnership project have been awarded to Morecambe Bay Partnership charity working closely with the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape Partnership, National Trust, RSPB, local wildlife organisations and communities.

Using money raised by National Lottery players, The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports projects that connect people and communities with the UK’s heritage.
