What a fun session! We continued to decorate the birds and elephants that we made from paper mache last week (I’ve added some photos before we started to decorate, to recap).

Announcement

We'll be changing our art & artists sessions from Thursday mornings to Fridays from this week on. We hope our art fans are still be able to attend Friday mornings, from 0930-1130.

This week we're continuing with linocuts as we concentrate on German Expressionism

NOW FULLY BOOKED!
Learn traditional sashiko with me on Wednesday in Sew Motion. We'll start with the basic stitching technique, which is different from our standard running stitch, then complete some basic hitomezashi sashiko patterns. You'll learn about the special tools needed, how to prep your fabric, the meaning behind the patterns and even a bit of Japanese. No preprinted patterns or grids, no stencils or templates. This is a special led session, that I have put a lot of effort into preparing, so will be asking for everyone to make their £5 donation for the session to S2C. Hayley 🙏🏻
