Ramsey Rural Museum CIO We are an independent museum in Huntingdonshire situated in open countryside on the edge of a small fenland town.

Housed in renovated 17th century farm buildings, the museum ifs full of items and exhibits kindly donated by local companies and the public. We are all about the local history, learning and entertainment. We have collections on local agriculture, local small trades and social history. We also have an extensive and growing archive of local information.

When does some event you remember deserves to be in an archive in Ramsey Rural Museum - part 2.

Well, my answer would be any of them, especially when they bring back great memories of some iconic events in Ramsey's recent, or not so recent past.

The last post here was from the Ramsey Youth Club collection of films and seems to have caused a great deal of interest, that particular clip of the 50-mile walk.

So now for you to ENJOY is a film of the 30-mile walk organised by Harry Pearce from Ramsey Youth Club.

I am sure that most people of a ‘certain age’ will recognise at least one person in this clip. Can you name more than one?
