Jinx, Hex, Potion, Ghost and Spirit were found beside a road near Woodgreen in September. They were only ten weeks old.
A kind member of the public brought them to us, where our vets checked them over and gave them parasite treatments and microchips.
They were in good health, but these little puppies were understandably frightened. They’d cower in the corners of their kennels, sometimes growling if anyone came too close. It was their way of letting us know they needed space.
Their carers spent time sitting quietly with them, talking gently and offering toys, always letting the puppies choose when to approach. Slowly, their playful sides began to emerge, and soon they were chasing around the gardens together.
Still a little unsure of people, they were ready to continue building their confidence in homes of their own. And it wasn’t long before they’d cast a spell on their new families. 🪄
All five have homes lined up! Some are already keeping their new families on their toes with plenty of puppy mischief, while the others will be joining theirs soon.
