As part of , we're delighted to shine the spotlight on the incredible adult volunteers who generously give their time to support cadets throughout our region. Next up, we're celebrating the amazing volunteers who make the experience so special. As one parent said in a thank you note to her son's unit, “Since William joined, I have genuinely seen a difference in him. Watching his confidence grow and seeing him become willing to try new things has meant so much to me...Thank you for giving him your time, patience, encouragement and support. And thank you for creating a place where he can make friends, learn, have fun and simply be himself."

Continuing our celebration of Sea Cadet adult volunteers, we loved reading this note from the Mum of Sea Cadet Leo. "As a parent, it is difficult to put into words just how much Sea Cadets has meant to Leo and how proud we are of the young person he is becoming... Over the past two years, we have watched him grow in ways we never could have imagined. His confidence has grown enormously, and he has developed independence, responsibility and so many valuable life skills along the way...Sea Cadets is so much more than just an organisation for young people. It gives them opportunities, friendships, experiences, confidence and life skills. It gets children outdoors, away from screens and into the real world, where they can learn, explore, take on challenges and discover what they are capable of."
