TEMPORARY CLOSURE

For those that may not have seen the notices, the car park at the Country Park is closed from today until Friday 3rd July. The "Nestbox Cafe" and toilets are also closed for the same period. See below the information released by the Country Park Management on the closure.

⭐ We're proud to share some fantastic news! ⭐

The Nestbox recently welcomed a visit from the Environmental Health Officer and we're delighted to announce that our café has been awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 – the highest possible rating! 🌟

This achievement is a testament to the hard work, professionalism and dedication of our café team, who remained calm under pressure during the inspection and have worked incredibly hard in recent months to maintain our excellent standards in our new surroundings.

A huge thank you to every member of the team for their commitment to providing a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our visitors.

News from the Park:

📢 IMPORTANT SITE UPDATE 📢

As improvement works continue across the site, we’d like to make visitors aware of some important upcoming changes.

Key dates:
🚧 Fenced play area closure from 1 June 2026
🚗 Car park closure: 15 June–3 July 2026
☕ Café closure: 15 June–3 July 2026

During this period, there will be NO PARKING AVAILABLE ON SITE, so please help us reduce disruption to our neighbours by not travelling to the park by car.

A new hoarding line will also be installed as works progress across the site, this is outlined in the attached image.

Please bear with us while these important improvements are carried out and help us by sharing this update with anyone who may be planning a visit.

As the café is now closed, for the duration of development works, refreshements are now available from 'The Nestbox' located in the car park.

The cafe is closed today, with facilities available in the car park starting Tuesday - as development works commence.

The news we've been waiting for some time!

‘Big News!
We’ve appointed Lindum Group to deliver major improvement works to Hinchingbrooke Country Park. The works will enhance habitats for wildlife, improve visitor facilities, and make the park more accessible for everyone.
Works are due to start on 13th April 2026 and are expected to complete by Spring 2027.

Thanks to Notcutts Garden Centres Brampton for donating a quantity of daffodil bulbs to us - they are now brightening up the entrance to Hinchingbrooke Country Park.
