Hens Teeth

Hens Teeth Famous for their annual, 'Art at the Altar' display at St Johns Church Pen*stone at Christmas that donates 20% of all proceeds to Charity.

Hens Teeth are an organisation of Artists and Makers from Pen*stone & District & the East Peak Area that come together on a regular basis to exhibit, share resources and ideas and support each other on their creative journey. Artists and makers from a wide range of creative disciplines including painters, potters, ceramacists, silversmiths, jewellers, woodturners, knitters, felt & textile artists

, sculptures, stonecarvers, artist blacksmiths , illustrators & printmakers all come together at regular intervals to exhibit. To date Hens Teeth have raised over £14,000 for Charitable organisations such as The Woodhead Mountan Rescue Team, The Royal Marines Benvolant Trust, Bluebell Wood Children Hospice,Friends of St Johns Church, Wentworth Castle restoration fund for the victorian glass house and Gatchru Water project Kenya, & Macmillian Cancer research.

It’s day 6!!!!…….OPEN 10 - 5.30….
We are being hosted by the Methodist Church just across the road from the main exhibition, bang slap in the centre of Holmfirth.

Pop along to Venue 7 to experience an explosion of creativity……
