Thank you to all who attended our family friendly concert yesterday at the Bluebell Suite in Dodworth. We hope everyone enjoyed the music, especially the band’s accompaniment to the screening of Wallace & Gromit A Grand Day out!

It was fantastic to see so many children enjoying themselves and the dancing and singing made for a fantastic atmosphere!

This was the start of a very busy year for the band with lots of varied concerts ahead for 2026 so if you would like to hear more from Cawthorne, or you missed us this time, please do keep a look out in the coming days for the updated diary of events for the year which will be published on our website www.Cawthornebrassband.co.uk very soon!

Exciting news from the band this week as we announce our first ever performance playing live with a screening!

Amongst a concert of popular music the band will be playing the sound track to Wallace & Gromit: A grand day out whilst the film is screened for the audience to enjoy.

A few more shots of the Band out and about playing carols and giving concerts on their run up to Christmas! It’s been a very busy season again!

If you haven’t managed to catch up with the band yet this Christmas there is still time! You can find them at the Dog & Partridge in Flouch this Thursday, 18th, 8pm-10:30pm playing carols to sing along to and for their final Christmas Concert of 2025 at the Spencer Arms in Cawthorne this Saturday, 20th, 2pm-4pm.

We hope you will all be able to join them to kick off the festivities of next week!

Join us this Saturday evening, 13th December, for a free Christmas concert at St. John’s Church, Cudworth. Come along and listen to our new Christmas programme, join in with some audience participation and enjoy mulled wine and mince pies!

Doors open 7pm.

No tickets needed, donation towards refreshments can be given and there will be a retiring collection towards church funds.

Some of the band wrapped up warm and out playing carols this morning at Blacker Hall Fram Shop. They’ll be there until 1pm so do drop in and say hello, maybe a request for your favourite Carol?!
