The Upper Dearne Woods Group will be having a working party on Sunday 21st June, meeting at the top of the lane (Greenwood Lane) nearly opposite the recycling site at 10.00am.
Please feel free to come and join us and help us keep the woods safe and accessible.
Our job will be to thin out some invasive species, mainly holly and beech saplings, which can crowd out the woods.
If you decide to come, please wear stout shoes and gloves and bring along a saw or loppers.
We look forward to meeting you on 21st
