We are a group of enthusiastic amateur who enjoy performing musical theatre shows and concerts. Whatever your musical tastes or skills, there will be a Hitchin Thespians production to match. We take on everything from the well-loved classics (Oliver!) through the modern (Made in Dagenham) to recent blockbusters (Sister Act). Whether you yearn to display your fancy footwork in a toe-tapping dance show (Anything Goes), give your vocal chords a workout (HMS Pinafore; Fauré’s Requiem) or lead the audience in a rousing version of Ding D**g Merrily (pretty much every Christmas since 1991), we have something you'll enjoy. The unique set-up of Hitchin Thespians allows members to experience an unrivalled variety of music. Some members choose to participate in all performances, others prefer to stick with one style, but once you are a vocal member the choice is yours and you will have the opportunity to potentially be part of all our concerts and shows. We have various productions a year currently comprising a Spring show, a Summer concert, and the ever-popular Christmas Special. Members are encouraged to get involved with everything we do - when you're not on-stage there are plenty of activities off-stage to keep you busy.
