Just fantastic show by Farm Yard Circus this morning! The clouds parted and the sun shone. Another performance this afternoon at 2.30pm - bring a blanket or a chair.

Our Farmyard Circus performances are still going ahead today despite the wet weather. Please do bring a chair or a waterproof blanket to sit on. See you at either 11:30am or 2:30pm

Dirty Dancing is planned to go ahead this evening despite the current rain. Forecast is to improve by 7.30pm and the film should start just after 8.15pm. Do bring a chair and a brolly - or a coat just like the one Baby wore in this scene....

It’s very busy here at Hay Castle today! Printmaking with Francesca and Graeme in the Print area, board gaming with Dylan in the Education Space and quilting in the Great Hall. Not to mention an outdoor screening of Dirty Dancing tonight on the lawn! Fingers crossed the rain stops as if not bring a coat or a brolly! Screening goes ahead come rain or shine.

Life Drawing is back for the Autumn term with the first session on Monday 7 September. The sessions start at 11am and run until 4pm and are self led - please bring your own materials and we provide the model - who will be the lovely Annie for this first session.

The day is split into two sessions and you can either attend all day or do a half session for just the morning or the afternoon. Pay in the shop - or book online using our website. Fees are £18 for all day and £12 for a half day.

The sessions take place in our Clore Learning Space on the 1st floor which is also accessible using the lift.

New people always welcome - beginners as well as seasoned artists. Come along on the 7th...
