Handmade with creativity and care

Our Service Users recently enjoyed a sewing and craft session where they created these beautiful fabric hearts using a range of colourful materials and patterns.

The session offered a chance to develop new skills, express creativity, and spend time together in a supportive and welcoming environment. Activities like these encourage confidence, wellbeing, and a sense of achievement while providing an opportunity for relaxation and connection.

Each heart is unique and reflects the creativity and personality of its maker. We are incredibly proud of what everyone created.

Our recent self-care day was filled with relaxation, positivity, and meaningful connections.

Service users enjoyed calming neck and shoulder massages, received s*xual health advice and information, painted their nails, and took part in an activity designed to help put worries aside and focus on positive thoughts and self-care.

The day was made even more special as we gathered to say farewell, but not goodbye, to our amazing Senior Modern Slavery Caseworker, Sara. There were tears, laughter, and many wonderful memories shared as we reflected on the difference she has made in the lives of so many people.

Thank you, Sara, for your dedication, compassion, and unwavering support. We wish you every success and happiness in your new role. πŸ’™

A Fantastic Day at Mini Golf!

Our service users recently enjoyed a staff-led outing to Lilliputs Mini Golf, where they spent the day having fun, building confidence, and enjoying time together in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The activity provided a great opportunity for everyone to express themselves, connect with others, and create positive memories while taking on the mini golf course. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and friendly competition throughout the day!

Experiences like these play an important role in supporting wellbeing, social inclusion, and personal development.

πŸ’™ A wonderful day enjoyed by all.

Together in dialogue. Together in solidarity.

Our team was honoured to join partners and colleagues for a series of meaningful discussions focused on supporting vulnerable people, promoting human dignity, and strengthening collaboration across organisations.

Highlights included a visit to the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, a shared lunch at Caritas Internationalis, and a panel discussion featuring representatives from Caritas Europa, Caritas Internationalis, and Caritas Italiana.

Our group photo in St Peter’s Square was taken beside *Angels Unawares* – a powerful sculpture representing refugees and migrants from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and generations. It stands as a reminder of our shared responsibility to support and advocate for those seeking safety and hope.

🎨 WMids MOP Group Session

Our latest Art Roadshow brought people together for an enjoyable afternoon of creativity, conversation, and collaboration.

Participants worked together to create a colourful community tree, with each contribution adding something unique to the final piece. The session offered a positive space to connect, express creativity, and celebrate the importance of working together.

It's always inspiring to see how art can encourage confidence, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success. 🌳✨

To celebrate Eid, our service users came together to prepare a delicious selection of salads and food with the support of one of our wonderful volunteers.

The celebrations continued with a creative arts and crafts session, where participants made beautiful tissue paper stained glass designs and lanterns, led by another dedicated volunteer. It was a fantastic day filled with creativity, teamwork, cultural celebration, and community spirit.

A huge thank you to our volunteers for helping make the day so special. πŸ’™

Our SUs attended a 2-hour drama workshop led by Projekt Europe, using creativity and performance to retell stories of struggle, resilience, and survival.

The session created a safe and supportive environment where everyone could express themselves freely, build confidence, and connect with others through drama and storytelling. The laughter and positive energy filled the room throughout the workshop, making it a truly uplifting experience for all involved.

A big thank you to Projekt Europe for delivering such a meaningful and engaging workshop.
