What an exciting development!

Do you know the ideal candidate? If so, please share!

Cultivate are hiring someone to help us develop a Food Hub in Hay as well as the wider Powys Food Loops from the early business planning stages right through to implementation. This is a critical step for the Food Pillar of our Community Resilience Initiative!

Cultivate is looking for an appropriate candidate to join the team and assist in developing new local and resilient food systems across Powys. This key role could be of particular interest to those seeking to enhance their business skills, gain an understanding of sustainable food systems, or obtain real-life experience in implementing solutions to climate change.

This an exciting position for the right candidate who will work towards food systems change right here in Powys! If you, or someone you know is a highly motivated, organised person interested in developing a career in the sustainability sector then this could be the ideal opportunity.

BENEFIT GIG FOR HAY LIBRARY - THIS COMING SATURDAY!
In 2021, with massive support from our community, HayPublicLibrary.org, our Community Interest Company, secured a five-year renewable commercial contract with Powys County Council to keep our Hay Library open. Next year, our contract will end, and we are negotiating and working hard to have it extended for an additional 5 years.

Each year, we have raised £5,000 from our community towards the £30,000 cost of running Hay Library. And, this year, we need to raise more funds - SO PLEASE COME TO OUR RAGGAE PARTY SPECTACULAR AT HAY DISTILLERY on Saturday. Join us - Eat, Drink, Dance the Night Away, and help us keep our Library Open.
