Sarah is the one who looks after us all she began with us a volunteer and is now a valuable member of the team. She's helped countless children learn to love new foods with her hearty meals!

Sarah has been a foster carer of over 20 years as well as bringing up her own son and now helps with her grandchildren. She loves rock music!!

Show Sarah some love cos we think she's great 😄

We had such a lovely outreach session at West View Project Children and Young People's Activity Centre tonight! 🎶

From creating Pink Floyd–style music with guitars, bass, and vocal pedals, to recording outdoor sounds (even a football match! ⚽), to sharing and singing our favourite songs. It was a vibe!

Next up on meet the team is

Emma Leighton

Emma is another member of our team who came as a youth club member and stayed with us, that gives her 20 years experience as a child and now a team member!!

You will see Emma in Junior and Senior sessions, she does the best displays keeping our walls looking lovely and bright.

When Emmas not at her day time job as TA in a school you can fine her with a crazy dog baby Ted, eating turkey dinos or chicken nuggets and listening to Justin Beiber.

Emma is ginger and proud, I am sure you will all agree she's a great asset to WVP.

We have had quite a few new followers so would like to introduce our team.

First up is..

Sophie Gibson

Sophie started at the project as a young person, she then came back to volunteer. Sophie's worked hard to gain qualifications in youth work and is a forest school practitioner. She is now the Junior Youth Club Co-ordinator so is your contact for anything related to the 5 - 11 sessions.

In her free time Sophie tells us she enjoys listening music, reading, eating lots of nice food and is a little bit crazy!

We think you will agree she does an amazing job with our junior sessions!
