We were delighted to support this fantastic project alongside our friends at Durham Freemasons Charity, Haven of Rest Lodge and other local businesses. Seeing the positive impact these partnerships have within our community is exactly what Freemasonry is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped kit out the School of SEND & Foundation Studies for the year ahead!

We're thrilled to have received a total of £600 in sponsorship and donations, and some fantastic in-kind support, to provide our learners with a brand new football kit and the accessories they need to build on this year's successes and grow our sporting provision going into 2026/27.

£450 of this total was made possible through the combined efforts of three Masonic organisations. An initial £50 donation from Haven of Rest Lodge No. 4350 was increased to £150 by the Hartlepool Freemasons - Hartlepool Masonic Benevolent Association (HMBA), before being further enhanced by the Durham Freemasons Charity to a fantastic total of £450. We are grateful to Jamie Allison, who supported the sponsorship and is pictured representing the organisation.

We would also like to thank Garthys World for their generous £150 donation. Based in Hartlepool, Garthys World provides affordable website design services for businesses across the UK, ranging from small business websites to full e-commerce solutions. Holly Haygarth is pictured representing the company.

In addition, Logo To Go, a professional embroidery, printing and personalisation business that works with schools and businesses across the region, kindly offered a 48.5% discount on the kit in return for displaying their logo on the jersey sleeve.

The support we have received will make a real difference to our learners, helping to provide not only a new kit but also the equipment and accessories needed throughout the next academic year. Thank you to everyone involved for supporting the School of SEND & Foundation Studies.

🍽️ Supporting Meals on Wheels Hartlepool 💙

Hartlepool Freemasons are proud to have supported Meals on Wheels Hartlepool, a fantastic Community Interest Company that provides nutritious meals and wellbeing checks to residents across our town.

What started as a £50 donation from Haven of Rest Lodge was matched by the Hartlepool Masonic Benevolent Association (HMBA) before an application was submitted to Durham Freemasons Charity, helping to secure even more funding for this outstanding local organisation.

Meals on Wheels Hartlepool delivers around 400 meals every week while providing friendly visits and wellbeing checks to approximately 110 local people, helping reduce isolation and supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

This is another wonderful example of Freemasonry working together to make a real difference in Hartlepool.

Join us on 17th June as Heugh Lodge No. 7773 relaunches its popular Nautical Night, raising funds for the amazing volunteers of Hartlepool RNLI.

🍽 Fish & chips, mushy peas, and ice cream for just £13
⚓ Nautical-themed evening – wear something maritime if you wish!
🎤 Plenty of opportunities to join in the fun

There is no charge for the entertainment, and anyone wishing to stay for the evening without dining is welcome to do so.

💙 Supporting Alice House Hospice 💙

Hartlepool Freemasons are proud to have presented a donation of £2,000 to Alice House Hospice in recognition of the incredible care, compassion and support they provide to individuals and families across our community.

The donation was made possible through the generosity of Haven of Rest Lodge No. 4350, whose contribution was further supported by the Hartlepool Masonic Benevolent Association (HMBA), demonstrating how local Freemasonry works together to support good causes throughout Hartlepool.

Representatives of Hartlepool Freemasonry recently visited the hospice to present the donation and meet members of the team who make such a positive difference to so many lives.

We would like to thank everyone involved and, most importantly, the staff and volunteers at Alice House Hospice for the outstanding work they do every day.

Hartlepool Freemasons are proud to have helped secure £1,200 of funding for a local Young Onset Dementia Support Group.

What began as a £200 donation from Clarence Lodge was supported by the Hartlepool Masonic Benevolent Association (HMBA) and then matched through Durham Freemasons Charity, helping provide vital activities, outings and support for people living with young onset dementia and their families.

This is a perfect example of how local Freemasonry works within the community — identifying needs, providing support, and helping local groups access further funding.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our HMBA Charity Race Night raised an incredible:

A huge thank you to every single person who attended, supported, sponsored, volunteered, donated, shared our posts, and helped make the evening such an amazing success.

What made the night truly special was not just the fundraising total, but the fantastic atmosphere inside our Masonic Hall. Seeing so many people from across the community come together for a night of laughter, friendship, and charity was something we are incredibly proud of.

These funds will go directly towards supporting local charitable causes and continuing the work of the Hartlepool Masonic Benevolent Association within our community.

This event was a major milestone for us as we continue opening the doors of Hartlepool Freemasons wider to the community - and after such a successful evening, we’re already excited about what comes next 👀
