Had a fantastic investigation at the weekend over at The Middlegate house in Hartlepool. Thank you everyone who came along to join us. This house is really opening up with some other spirits starting to come forward. Will share some evidence we picked up throughout the week.

Just finished up making a new writing planchette and really looking forward to giving it a test drive next saturday at The Middlegate house up at The Headland. It will be interesting to see what messages may come through from the spirits there. If you have never heard of a writing planchette here is a little bit of background one what they are.

Writing planchettes are used as a form of automatic writing or psychography and are used in much the same way as that of a planchette on a Ouija or spirit board. One or more people place their fingers on the planchette and ask spirit questions, they then use the planchette to write out the answer.

Writing planchettes are seen as the predecessors of the Ouji boards. There is a history of automatic or spirit writing dating as far back as early as the 400s CE in China
