Black Widows MCC, this morning met Chloe Gleeson #25 and Becky her Mum.

Chloe is a motorcycle racer and has made substantial progress.

We are proud sponsors.

We had a lovely breakfast, a nice chat and discussed the progress that Chloe has been making.

Chloe is clearly an all-rounder, committed to her learning and a very active member of the Combined Cadet Force(CCF) as well as her motorcycle racing passion.

It was so amazing to meet such an inspirational young person, who clearly has a very bright future ahead of herself.

She works very hard on the track.

We are very committed to supporting Chloe.

Thanks to the members who attended.

We also took the opportunity of "patch in" Lee Baker who has been prospecting for one year now.

Lee will be formerly taking over as Almoner of the Chapter, this is a very important role.

Lee also is doing his Motorbike Mental Health course.(MHFA)

He is a Christian biker and a very caring man.

He rides one of the scariest looking harley-davidsons ever seen.

We are delighted to have him furthering this role.

The patch was given by the Sergeant at Arms, Sam White and the ceremony was conducted by our Secretary, delegated by our President who needed to be on a roof to take advantage of the weather.

Our core values are Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty and Commitment,a very difficult act to follow ,and a solemn promise was given to uphold those core values.

Black Widows MCC held the June meeting on Thursday at the C**k Inn Ringmer Road Lewes BN8 5RX.

We meet the first Thursday of the month at 7pm.

We appointed Ian Hughes as VP.
We appointed Lee Baker as our Almoner.

It is important to have active officers that do the job to ensure the chapter runs well.

We are very confident that these individuals will step up and deliver.

We wish them well moving forward.

We have some events coming up, details are in the photographs.

The Secretary is meeting Anthony Johnson - AJRacing next weekend for breakfast.

AJ is doing incredibly well we are one of his sponsors.

We are very proud to support him as well as Chloe Gleeson #25

We are circulating our gofundme page, if you can support us we would appreciate it.

We have plans to go to the Ace Cafe, Lydd Karting Track , Sammy Miller's and the Festival of Transport which is coming up next weekend.

We've also started planning for the 2027 Egg Run in association with the South Coast Mods.

Flyers are already out for that.

We are in the process of refurbishing our club bike which is an old Harley Davidson that needs some tender loving care.

This is being undertaken by our Sergeant at Arms Sam White and our chaplain Jon Sewell.
We are planning at France trip in the next two months to Normandy.
We plan to visit Arromanche, Le Mont St Michel and Honfleur.

This is going to be a midweek event which will suit those that are able to take a day off work or fill a day of their retirement without interfering with their weekend.

This is being planned by our President, Dan McLusky.

Our President and his brother Toby and a couple of mates, headed down to Spain the week before last on the bikes via the scenic route.

Some amazing footage and great views.
There are plans to do this again with a larger group.

We are at Hailsham on the 28th of June where we will be selling hot dogs and just in connection with wildlife there will be a darts competition.

All proceeds will be going to the charities and organisations that we support.

There will be a number of bikes on show.
There will be members on hand to share what we do.

We continue to support Serv Sussex, the Blood runners.

The Black Widows MCC are today at the Sussex Stomp.
Lots to see, lots to do.

We are running a dart competition.

The highest score on six darts wins the pot.

We're also selling good quality hot dogs wrapped in freshly baked French bread this morning, and of course all the different sauces

Our Chaplain, Jon and Julie, a spider are working hard producing good quality food and hopefully generating lots of interest in the opportunity of winning a few pounds getting those darts in the centre of the board.

The event runs until 5pm today.

Thank you to Sam, our Sergeant at Arms for the logistics, also Lee and Ian, our prospects for getting involved in supporting us in the preparation as well.

Not forgetting Dave helping set up this morning.

Let's hope the day is a success and everybody enjoys themselves.

Saturday 10 am it all began..
10 members of Black Widows MCC began the preparation for the Charity Shoot two months in the making.
7 hours later we were ready.
That evening our President, Dan McLusky, our Sergeant at Arms, Sam White and Past Road Captain, Andy White set up their Land Cruisers and roof rents and spent the night at the field, ready for the Sunday morning shoot.

Breakfast was at 8am at the Custom Cafe, Caroline and her team delivered 23 breakfasts.
in break neck time.

After a thorough briefing 20 shooters spent the morning not only competing with each other but themselves and their ability to hit the targets, in this instance clays.

At 1230pm our job was done.
There were two clear winners Dan McLusky and James, partner of Jessica Kingsley,a very impressive account from both.

Our Barn Door Sniper Award went to Jane in Accounts. Nil Point.
Thanks to Steve Dixon, Charles Napper and everyone who got stuck in.

Thanks for the Support from Branded 1066 MC.
Much appreciated.

A great day for sharing company with old friends and making a few new ones and more importantly raising funds for the work we do..

Great morning this morning for the Black Widows MCC.
Started at Diplocks cafe & restaurant in Hailsham.
Had some light refreshments, said hello to Niall the owner, then headed off to the Branded 1066 clubhouse before heading off to the May Day Run in Hastings. Our RV was the London Trader pub.

They kindly provided free food for bikers.

They were also selling Support 81 Alliance T-shirts.

The Sussex Alliance were there in incredible numbers.

There were thousands of bikes out there today.

Members of many MC's, MCC,s from all over Sussex and Kent and Surrey.

Great atmosphere an opportunity to meet new people and rekindle existing relationships.

Thank you to all the members of Black Widows MCC who were able to attend.
