Quicken Trust Quicken Trust seeks to help the people of Kabubbu, Uganda in their journey from poverty and despair to self-determination and hope.

Find out more about our work: http://www.quickentrust.com OUR MISSION
To partner with the future of others who are in poverty and special need through no fault of their own, and to assist them in their self-determination to provide themselves with a better future. OUR VISION
To provide research, resources and practical skills to assist the people of Kabubbu by whatever means achievable to enable

them to free themselves from the injustice of poverty imposed by others. Quicken Trust is focussed on showing the love of Christ in action to the Kabubbu community in Uganda. We aim to demonstrate this through the provision of the resources they lack and assisting them in training and acquiring the knowledge and skills they need to sustain projects which enable them to provide for themselves.

Have you read our latest Newsletter? If not, remember to check the Junk Mail folder of your email account, in case it ended up there, and set future emails from our address to 'Safe'.

In our latest issue, learn how your donations have been providing equipment and repairs to Kabubbu's schools, and a lot of joy to the children. You can also hear the story of how the gift of one bicycle changed life for a whole family!

And you can join our Easter Appeal to build the Foster Home a simple but practical outdoor kitchen to help them feed the children in their care. You can also give to this appeal using our online form: https://quickentrust.beaconforms.com/form/829f28a4

Thank you, and a Happy Easter!

A week ago I got back from 10 days in Kabubbu Uganda taking a team of volunteers for a new experience in the project visiting the children in both schools, health center, farming and small business programs. Distributed the vast range of goods from the container the Quicken Trust shipped (including two donated cellos). And saw visitors rise to the challenge of making life changing contributions. Thanks team. You were excellent.

To celebrate Quicken Trust’s 25th Anniversary, we are holding a Service of Thanksgiving for the work in Kabubbu. We would love you to join us to give thanks to God for His goodness to the people of Kabubbu.

Where: Victoria Baptist Church, 7 Eldon Rd, Eastbourne, BN21 1UE

When: 20th September. Doors open from 1:30pm. Service starts at 2:00pm

Please RSVP by emailing [email protected] so we have an idea of numbers.

The service will be 1 hour long. As well as a few songs, we will be interviewing Geoff and Geraldine Booker about how God has provided miraculously for the work. We also hope to link up live with Enoch and one or two folk in Kabubbu for some testimonies giving thanks to God.

We will ask one or two people to give testimony to the goodness of God as they have been involved in the work. We will also be collecting an offering as a gift to Kabubbu.

After the service we would love you to stay for tea, coffee and cake. Please bring stories or pictures of your Kabubbu memories to share on display boards. They should be A4 size or smaller. We would love to scan these and compile a thanksgiving publication to send out. Please do not bring originals, as we may find it difficult to return them).

A massive thank you to all who supported the Quicken Trust summer tea party event. It was lovely to see and talk to so many. My cream and jam scone was excellent. People were full of fun.

Thank you Willingdon church hosting the event and to those who baked and served. You are very lovely.

The funds raised will go towards our summer campaign for Welfare Packs for those in need of food, urgent medical care and others in personal crisis.

Thank you.

Our Quicken Trust 25 years thanksgiving service is on September 20th at Victoria Baptist Church Eastbourne at 2:00pm.
