This morning a group of our volunteers "attacked" the Library Garden. We had a breezy morning pruning the roses & weeding the beds & path. If you watch to the end you will see that we lost Chris in the roses. If found...please return to Environment Hailsham. Thank you! 🤣

Another workout for our volunteers this morning!💪We've been moving compost & spreading woodchip to suppress weeds at our HQ. Our plug plants arrive next week & we are now preparing the trays for planting. If you are interested in volunteering with us then this is a perfect time to come along & see our process from start to finish. Our sessions are Tuesdays & Fridays 10 am until noon. Just turn up or contact us: [email protected]

Our volunteers tackled picking & removing the last of the tomatoes & then the plants & supports. The compost is reused to improve the soil in the outside beds. Had to get a picture of the beautiful dew drenched climber on the outside of one of the polytunnels.
