Are you passionate about helping people rebuild confidence, develop skills, and move towards employment?

Headway Surrey is looking for a Job Coach to join our Be Ready Programme, supporting adults living with the effects of acquired brain injury to develop their employability skills, confidence, and independence.

About the Role

As a Job Coach, you will:
✅ Provide one-to-one and group support to programme participants
✅ Help individuals identify strengths, skills, and career goals
✅ Support job searching, CV writing, interview preparation, and workplace readiness
✅ Build relationships with employers and create opportunities for work experience and employment
✅ Encourage confidence, resilience, and personal growth

We're Looking For Someone Who:

⭐ Has experience in employment support, coaching, education, rehabilitation, or a related field
⭐ Is compassionate, patient, and empowering in their approach
⭐ Has excellent communication and organisational skills
⭐ Understands (or is willing to learn about) the impact of brain injury on everyday life and employment
⭐ Believes everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential

🌿 Nature Connections – Summer Walk at Goldsworth Park Lake 🌿

Join us for our next Nature Connections Walk on Friday 26th June 2026 and enjoy a gentle stroll in beautiful surroundings with friendly company.

📅 Date: Friday 26th June 2026
⏰ Time: Meet from 10:15am for a 10:30am start. Finish approximately 12 noon.
📍 Location: Goldsworth Park Lake, Woking (Meet outside Quakers Café, GU21 3LG)

🚶‍♂️ We'll take a gentle, flat walk of approximately 1km around the lake before returning to the café. Benches are available around one side of the lake, making this a relaxed and accessible outing.

💷 Cost: Free to attend. Donations to Headway Surrey are always appreciated, and a collection tin will be available on the day.

🚗 Parking: Free parking with plenty of disabled spaces available.

☕ Facilities: Quakers Café offers indoor and outdoor seating, with toilets available at the start and finish of the walk.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Friends, family, and well-behaved dogs are very welcome to join us!
