BZ to Midshipman Aadam Zia RNR, who has completed the accelerated Officers Initial Naval training as a member of HMS President. He will officially pass out in November and plans to continue volunteering with the SCC. Well done !!

Yesterday, members of London Western District proudly took on the 13 Bridge Challenge to celebrate Armed Forces Day, an incredible 10-mile walk across some of London's most iconic landmarks! 🇬🇧⚓🚶

Representing Sea Cadets Richmond were PO (SCC) Akers, PPO (SCC) Akers, CPO (SCC) Akers and the London Area Chair Mrs Akers as well as PO (SCC) Prentice from the district team and CPO (SCC) Burton from Tooting and Balham SCC - TS Constant.

🌉 Golden Jubilee Bridges (crossed in both directions!)

🌉 Vauxhall Bridge
🌉 Chelsea Bridge
🌉 Albert Bridge

From the historic Tower Bridge to the beautiful Albert Bridge, every step celebrated the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our Armed Forces. It was a fantastic day of teamwork, resilience, and plenty of smiles along the way.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success, especially our fantastic supporters from Sea Cadets Wandsworth and T.S. Stork - Chiswick Sea Cadets as well as all the dedicated CFAVs who gave up their time to encourage, support, and cheer everyone on throughout the challenge. Your enthusiasm and commitment made all the difference and we couldn't have done it without you.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the challenge – a brilliant achievement and a fantastic way to celebrate Armed Forces Day together. We are incredibly proud of you all! 🇬🇧

Next weekend is the SSAFA 13 bridges challenge!
