Here's some great news to get your Saturday off to a sunny start!! 🌟
We’re thrilled to share that The National Lottery Community Fund has pledged almost half a million pounds to support our work over the next five years! 🎉
You might have noticed we’ve been a little quieter than usual… and that’s because we’ve been preparing for one of the biggest announcements in Blossom’s history. Thanks to this incredible support from The National Lottery Community Fund, by 2030 we will:
🤜🤛 Offer over 250 FREE mentoring places for LGBT+ people under 30 - helping you to build confidence, grow your networks, and reach your goals.
🫂💕 Open at least three new in-person drop-in hubs across the Surrey borders: Creating welcoming spaces for even more of our community & finding new ways to give you opportunities to shape and support each other.
⏰🗓️ Enhance and extend our existing sessions, running them for longer, adding more impact, and welcoming at least 750 participants.
🌐👷♂️ Launch a brand-new digital resource hub to support young LGBT+ job seekers with tools, advice, and opportunities.
🏢📈 Work directly with businesses to tackle the root causes of recruitment and retention challenges; driving meaningful, systemic change.
And that’s just the beginning! We’ve got even more exciting pilots, programmes, and activities coming soon as part of our brand-new strategy, which we’ll be sharing very shortly.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we’re building a future where every LGBT+ person can truly blossom. 🌸
