Exciting news - We are continuing this coming week with our renovations and upgrades at our Hainton Shop and because of this we will be unable to accept donations on the following days…

💜Tueday 25th August
💜Wednesday 26th August

We will be back and ready to receive all your lovely donations again with our new and improved donation station on Thursday 27th August.

All our other shops, Tiverton, Nunsthorpe, Immingham, Willows are still fully open and would be happy to take any donations on those days.

Though Immingham is the newest of our stores, it's absolutely thriving and you can certainly see why;

The shop is full of amazing goods and has plenty of room to browse.

The jewel in Immingham's crown is definitely the haberdashery section, which is incredibly popular. ✂️

SAVE THE DATES!!

Due to our previous and successful De-Stash Day we will be hosting another on the 29th of August and again in September. We also have Ermine Street Car Club's Classic Car Show on Sunday the 30th of August whilst inside on the same day the Visitor Centre will be holding our Mini Pop up Shops. We look forward to welcoming you, and as always Humber Hideaway Cafe will be open and ready to serve you up some home made hot or cold food and refreshments.

Next up, the Willows shop!

As you can see, Willows is absolutely brimming with incredible finds.

The store is located at 11 Wingate Parade, DN37 9DR. Right next door to the pharmacy. 🏥

With a wide selection of items from books to wedding dresses, Willows has it all. Not to mention that record wall! What music fan wouldn't want to go and have a look?

Today we are highlighting another one of our amazing charity shops - Tiverton! 🌟

The shop is located at 120 Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes, DN35 7DN on the corner of Tiverton street.

Don’t be fooled by its small size; it's chocked full of treasures just waiting to be found! 🤩

We get new items on the shop floor daily in all our shops, so it's always worth popping in.

Sanctuary Scheme Co-ordinator

A day in the life of our Sanctuary Scheme Co-ordinator…

A referral comes in.

Someone experiencing domestic abuse wants to remain in their own home, but changes are needed to help make that home safer.

That’s where our Sanctuary Scheme comes in.

As our Sanctuary Scheme Co-ordinator, you’ll be at the centre of making sure that support happens smoothly.

Your day might include taking and managing new referrals, liaising with our Referral and Outreach teams, keeping in touch with clients, support workers and the Sanctuary Scheme provider and making sure everyone has the information they need.

You’ll record work and outcomes, keep our systems accurate and up to date, monitor the project’s KPIs and help us demonstrate the difference the scheme is making.

There’ll be phone calls, paperwork, databases and deadlines. There’ll also be plenty of communication and co-ordination behind the scenes.

Because good administration matters.

It helps turn a referral into practical action that can reduce risk, increase safety and give adults and children affected by domestic abuse greater reassurance and stability in their own homes.

We’re looking for someone with excellent administration, organisation and communication skills to join us as our Sanctuary Scheme Co-ordinator.

📍 Grimsby Town Centre
⏰ 20 hours per week, with flexible days and times
💷 £12.33 per hour

Creativity, talent and a little bit of imagination 💜

Meet Elizabeth, one of the wonderful volunteers at our Immingham shop.

Alongside fellow volunteer Denise, Elizabeth looks after our haberdashery section, helping keep it organised and inspiring customers with everything from fabrics and ribbons to sewing accessories.

Recently, Elizabeth created this incredible Steampunk costume for Whitby Steampunk Weekend.

And can you believe...

Every piece of fabric and all the material used to make it came from our Immingham shop. 💜

It's a fantastic reminder that our charity shops are full of hidden treasures waiting to be transformed into something amazing.
