💥WE'RE HIRING!💥

We are looking for an Asset Coach to join our team!

You’ll work one-to-one with young people in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area who are going through tough transitions. You'll be coaching them to overcome challenges, build confidence, and break the cycle of homelessness.

❤️This is a values-driven role for someone who is kind, curious, and unafraid to challenge injustice.

Nowhere left to go tonight?

If you or someone you know has nowhere safe to stay tonight, there is support available.

➡️ For emergency support, call the North East Lincolnshire Homeless Prevention Service on 01472 326296.
➡️ To refer yourself to the council online, use the link in the comments.

For in-person support from Doorstep, visit our centre and ask to speak to someone about housing.

We can't offer emergency housing, but we can support 16-25 year olds who need someone by their side to help navigate the steps to housing.

💬 “By supporting young people before things spiral, we can help prevent the same cycles of addiction and homelessness that sadly shaped my dad’s life.”

When Ella approached us with her offer to fundraise by running a half-marathon on behalf of our charity, we were unbelievably touched by her story.

With only 10 days to go, Ella is very close to reaching the £750 target she set for the AJ Bell Half Marathon, which takes place on 31 May 2026.

Facing eviction?

If you have been asked to leave where you are staying, even by family or a friend, you need to let someone know as soon as you can.

Contact the Homeless Prevention Team, a trusted adult, or get in touch with Doorstep. The sooner you reach out, the more we can do to help.

You can also refer yourself to the council online (find the link in the comments). We can give you advice on what to do next and support you through the process.

We support young people 16-25 who are experiencing homelessness already or at risk of losing the home they already have.

If you know a young person who seems unsettled, is between addresses, or has mentioned not knowing where they’re going to be, it’s worth taking seriously.

Young people often don’t know their options or feel like they’re not ‘bad enough’ to ask for help. They are.

If you or someone you know is moving between friends and family every few nights with nowhere safe or secure to stay, it's classed as being homeless.

Many young people sofa surf until they suddenly have nowhere to go that night.

Don’t leave it too late to get help.

We have a room available in our shared general housing. Check the eligibility below 👇

General housing means that you're independent enough to manage a tenancy without any extra help. If you do run into difficulties, we're on hand to guide you through it.

To be eligible you must be:

🟢18-25 years old at the time of application
🟢in receipt of an income
🟢have a good level of independence
🟢able to provide ID and at least one reference
🟢have a local connection to NE Lincs

Rent is £91.40 per week, including all bills.

No deposit. No 'moving in' fees.
