North’s christmas lights

Wow what a day. With sean having massive back problems we have had amazing friends come and get our scaffolding and almost all our lights up today 🥰🥰🥰

The lightening community is a massive family around the country that all help each other and we couldn’t have done this year with out them.

Now it’s time to get the programing done ( which takes time)

Now the question is do we light parts of that massive snowflake up for Halloween as we have got it up ready so there no worry.

We are now excited for this year.

We do our lights by ourselves but this year we don’t have a choice. We are looking for a/ couple of scaffolders that are able to put our scaffolding up for us for the lights this month while the weather is good. We have all the poles and clips and pictures how we had it last year but unable to do it unfortunately our selfs due to illness. If you visited last year it’s what the big 16ft snowflake attaches to.

EDITED- we would like it doing for free. We don’t make anything from this just raise money for charity (£20,755.60 so far in 6 years)

It’s September 1st and that only means one thing. Halloween and Christmas lights. This month we start getting them up BUT as it stands we have hit a problems. Sean will more than likely not be able to put them up. The amazing lighting community have all offered help. So please please please keep an eye on the page for dates and what is happening. If it will be a smaller show/ if they will be going up.

If all gos ahead we will be raising money for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance again this year as they are such an amazing charity.

It’s our youngest birthday today meaning one thing. We are half way through August and we need to get a move on as it’s only 10 weeks till Halloween. This year has flown by and we best get a move on getting ready for the lights.

Today we visited Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance. An amazing charity and thanks to you for your donations they can keep going.

2 sheds gone and patio down. Did somebody say more room for Christmas lights if we can afford them this year.

✨ We’ve had a super busy couple of weekends! ✨

We’ve been knocking down 2 sheds to make more room for the Christmas lights 🎄✨
It’s been hard going, but we’re slowly getting there! 💪

Now we’re on the hunt for paving slabs…
👉 We’re looking for around 30 slabs (600mm x 600mm)
👉 As cheap as possible if anyone knows anywhere!

I’ve been checking Marketplace every day but haven’t had any luck so far 😩

So I thought I’d ask here…
Has anyone seen any, got any going spare, or know somewhere that sells them cheap please
