✨ We’ve had a super busy couple of weekends! ✨

We’ve been knocking down 2 sheds to make more room for the Christmas lights 🎄✨
It’s been hard going, but we’re slowly getting there! 💪

Now we’re on the hunt for paving slabs…
👉 We’re looking for around 30 slabs (600mm x 600mm)
👉 As cheap as possible if anyone knows anywhere!

I’ve been checking Marketplace every day but haven’t had any luck so far 😩

So I thought I’d ask here…
Has anyone seen any, got any going spare, or know somewhere that sells them cheap please

Would really appreciate any help 🙏

Our lights aren’t just for Christmas we can use them any time of the year. If you would like to see us do a small Easter display or any other display over the years please comment what you would like to see

Our lights aren’t just something we put up in 5 minutes to see how over the top we can go. They’re something we think about, plan, and pour our hearts into all year round.

But truthfully… they’re so much more than just lights.

If I had a field, or didn’t worry about our neighbours, I’d have them up all year. Because it’s not just at Christmas that people need a bit of joy. Life can be hard, and sometimes all someone needs is a few minutes where the world feels a little lighter… a moment to just stop, smile, and breathe.

This hobby has given us more than we ever expected. We’ve become part of an incredible lighting community and made some truly special friends along the way. There was a big meet in Florida this year that we couldn’t make, but hopefully we’ll be there next time. At the end, there was a speech that really hit home, and it perfectly explains why we do this.

So for anyone who’s ever wondered why… or thought we were a little bit mad… please take a moment to listen.

Because to us, it’s not about the lights themselves. It’s about the feeling they give people. The smiles, the memories, and for some, that tiny spark of hope when they might be going through a really difficult time.

If we can give even one person that moment… then every second of it is worth it 💛✨

This is why this charity is so important. You never ever know when you or your family could need them. Every penny adds up.

📅We are only 12 days into 2026 and we've already completed 62 missions. Currently, we are averaging six jobs a day this month, up from our usual 4 missions per day.

The money has now been transfered to Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

£6444.39 into there charity bank
£1327 just giving
£274.75 gift aid making

£8046.14

Here is what the money you raised could be used for

£8,000 is the equivalent cost of 2x lifesaving missions in our Ambucopter

or

£8,000 could cover the purchase cost, of a new Lucas Device which performs vital CRP chest compressions to a patient at scene and in our Ambucopter, allowing our crews time and energy to perform other lifesaving interventions where needed.

Or

£10 pays for specialist trauma dressing and bandages 

£25 pays for fibreglass leg splint to prevent further injury.

Wow… honestly, where do we even begin?

What you have all done this year has completely blown us away. The support, the kindness, the generosity — it’s been truly overwhelming in the best possible way.

We aren’t going to name anyone individually, because there are just too many people who helped and we would hate to miss someone out. But from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person and business who supported us in any way and helped make the lights and the raffle happen.

Thank you to every single person who donated.
Thank you to everyone who came to visit us over Halloween, Remembrance, and Christmas.
Every visit, every kind word, every donation — it all meant more to us than you will ever know.

This year, together, you helped us raise an incredible **£8,026.14**.

That number still doesn’t feel real.

It’s double what we raised last year (£4,009). We went into this year hoping — just hoping — we might manage to raise £4,000 again. Enough for the air ambulance to take to the skies once and help save a life. When we reached that, we were so proud and so grateful.

But then it kept going…

£5,000…
£6,000…
£7,000…

I remember thinking, how is this even possible?

We thought maybe, if we were really lucky, we could push to **£7,300**, which would take our total raised over the years to over £20,000 (last year it stood at £12,700). When we reached that, I honestly couldn’t believe it.

And then something even more incredible happened.

We reached **£8,000** — enough to help the air ambulance take off twice, to be there for people on what could be the worst day of their lives. I truly never thought we would get there… but because of you, we did.

We are beyond grateful. We are emotional. We are so, so proud of what this community has achieved. None of this would have been possible without you ❤️

We’ll be keeping this page active, so when we return for Halloween and Christmas this year , you’ll see our updates. Last year, some people missed the raffle and asked for tickets after it had already happened — and we don’t want anyone to miss out again. It’s a **huge raffle**, held on the **switch-on night**.
