🕺🕶️ 14s & Under – Time to Hit the Dance Floor! 🩳🎶

Round off Gordon Civic Week in style at our Shorts & Shades Disco! 😎

Join us at Gordon Village Hall on Thursday 11th June, from 6:30pm–8:00pm, for an evening of music, dancing and fun with DJ JR. 🎵

✨ Shorts and shades are optional, but the good vibes are guaranteed!

👧🧒 Ages 14 and under only
🍪 £2 entry (includes a snack)

Pre-school children must be accompanied by an adult.

Come along, bring your friends, and help us finish Gordon Civic Week with a boogie in the hall! 💃🕺

📢 Parent Council AGM – Rescheduled 📢

Please note that our Parent Council AGM has been rescheduled and will now take place on Tuesday 23rd June at 6:00pm in the school.

We would love to see as many parents and carers there as possible as we decide on the committee for next year and discuss our aims and priorities for the year ahead. This is your opportunity to have your say and help shape the Parent Council’s work.

👕 School Uniform Swap Rail

For the next two Mondays, we will have our uniform swap rail available for parents and carers to pick up second-hand school uniform.

🕒 2:50pm – 3:15pm

We would also be very grateful for any donations of clean, good-condition school clothing that your children have outgrown.

📢 POSTPONED!! Parent Council AGM – All Welcome! 📢

Our Parent Council AGM will take place on Tuesday 2nd June at 6pm in the school.

We will be voting on committee roles for the next school year, and would love to see as many parents and carers there as possible.

This is a great opportunity to come along and have your say. All parents/carers are very welcome to attend — we hope to see you there! 😊

✨ A Huge Thank You! ✨

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in the Gordon Music Festival 2025 (now part of the Gordon Common Good) and to all the community members who supported it 🎶👏

💛 Thanks to your incredible generosity, half of last year’s festival proceeds were donated to the Parent Council. This has made a real difference to our Gordon Primary School community!

Because of this support, we have been able to provide:
🎭 A Christmas panto trip for Primary 1–7
🧸 A festive soft play trip for our nursery children
🎁 Christmas gifts and treats for pupils
📚 New books to support extracurricular reading
🎨 A fun and engaging art workshop
🟡 A few other super bits and pieces

We are so grateful for all the support we have received 🙏 It allows us to fund a wide range of exciting and enriching experiences for our pupils 🌟

Thank you for helping us create such special opportunities for our children 💕

🐣🌸 EASTER EGG RAFFLE UPDATE! 🌸🐣

The Easter Egg raffle was drawn at the Easter church service in the last week of term. A huge well done to all of our winners – we hope you enjoyed your eggs! 🎉🥚

We hope everyone had a lovely Spring holiday and enjoyed the break. 🌷

💛 Thank you to Leona for her very kind donation of the eggs, and to everyone who took part in the raffle.

🙏 Thanks also to the school and church for allowing us to draw the raffle, and to the new village Queen and Flag Bearer for helping on the day.

🎉 We’re delighted to share that we raised over £60, which will go towards supporting school costs and activities.
