Wednesday group will be returning to the previous time. We trialed the spilt group and found it wasn’t working. We will return to our usual 6pm-8pm! This will be for all members.

🚴‍♂️ Ready to get your child riding confidently this summer? Let our experts help! 🚴‍♀️

This summer, the Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapy Team is running hands-on bike troubleshooting groups to help school-aged children ride independently!

We will be using expert tips for balance and motor skills to get your child rolling.

On Thursday, our S3 pupils attended a Charity Fair to support their learning as they begin the Young Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) in RME classes.

A huge thank you to all the charities that came along and shared their valuable work with our young people. Students left feeling inspired and enthusiastic about the positive impact that the third sector has on our communities and the difference it makes to people's lives.

We look forward to seeing where their YPI journey takes them!

We were delighted to be invited along to Beyond Earlston drop-in session last night to chat to the young people about red squirrel conservation and to make plans for our Summer sessions! Great discussions were had around a nature-themed game of 'Hues and Clues' and the young people were a great help in checking through the trail camera footage from our local squirrel feeders. We're really looking forward to the Summer programme now! 💚🐿️🌳

Bright Green Nature is part of the Red Squirrel Recovery Network - a multi partner, super landscape scale project working to safeguard red squirrel populations in southern Scotland and northern England. The project is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

This Week at Thursday Group we had a visit from Elaine from Bright Green Nature! 🌳 🪲

The young people matched bones to the animal 🦴 , watched trail cam footage 👀 , learned about Red and Grey Squirrels 🐿️ , and played some games! 😊

We also continued our Clothes give away which was a great success 👕 👚 🙌

Though it was a quiet session, everyone got involved! 😄 HUGE THANK YOU to Bright Greet Green Nature for coming along! 😊
