At last!!! The Premier League is back!

Next up, Citeh! (The fixture computer having a laugh, eh? 😂)

We're looking forward to a Sham-azing game, with Sham-pagne football on display tomorrow as our Reds return to action against a Citeh team who've enjoyed a quiet few weeks in the media… 👀😂

Join us tomorrow at The Record Factory from 3pm for a 4:30pm kick-off! There'll be choons from our Andy, a half-time footie card and, of course, plenty of cheering on our boys as we hope to see some Sham-bolic defending from our rivals!

Remember, it's our LFC Foundation Social Action Challenge Foodbank Dry Food Drop-Off Day, in aid of local foodbanks. We'd really love you to dig deep and bring along a load of items to help continue the amazing charitable spirit you show week in, week out!

PLEASE NOTE: DRY FOOD ITEMS ONLY.

See you tomorrow, Reds!

AGM Hightlights - Final Day!

As we come to our final AGM Highlights post, a huge thank you once again to the guys at The Record Factory for being such fantastic hosts to our OLSC. From all the help on matchdays to the great membership discounts, you always look after us so well.

A big shout-out to the brilliant for making our Reds look amazing with your fantastic face-painting skills!

And a special mention to our very own Andy Butler for his awesome warm-up choons. We’re so lucky to have such a talented musician helping create the perfect matchday atmosphere. 🎶

Finally, a massive thank you to our committee for all the hard work that went into organising a brilliant AGM and a great day for our members.

Up the Reds!

AGM Highlights — Day Three!

Today’s AGM highlight continues with a focus on the charity side of our OLSC, but moving into 2026/2027.

Members voted for Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH) to become our chosen charity for the 2026/27 season.

We’re really looking forward to working with SAMH over the coming season and supporting the amazing work they do, whilst continuing our support for LFC Foundation and other local charities!

Details of SAMH and the vital work they carry out can be found on their website: samh.org.uk

Our raffle yesterday raised an incredible £850, which is a phenomenal start to our new season total!

Despite our Chairman needing a head torch to read the tickets! 😂🔦

Congratulations to all of our raffle winners, and many thanks to everyone who took part. There were some amazing prizes on offer, including a match ticket and travel package for a game this season, with the star prize being the Stevie G signed framed print.

Here’s to another year of amazing fundraising by the Glasgow Reds!

AGM Highlights — Day Two!

Today’s AGM highlight is all about the amazing charity work undertaken in the last year coordinated by our Charity Manager, Stephen Kirley, and, most importantly, the incredible support our members continue to give to help those charities.

During the 2025/26 season, we raised an amazing £5,920 across a number of fantastic causes:

❤️ £3,000 — Beatson Cancer Charity, our elected charity partner for 2025/26
❤️ £2,220 — LFC Foundation
❤️ £500 — Local foodbanks
❤️ £200 — Kip on the Kop

That is a stunning amount of money to have raised over the course of a season, and it's a real testament to the kindness, generosity and community spirit our members continue to show year after year.

From raffles and footie cards, LFC Foundation Active Challenge, Beatson FootGolf, Glasgow Kiltwalk to all the other fundraising activities throughout the season, every contribution makes a difference.

The committee would like to say a huge thank you to every single member who supported our fundraising efforts during 2025/26.

We genuinely couldn't do it without you!

Look out for tomorrows post on our charity partner for 26/27 and the amazing start to our new season total!

AGM Highlights - Day One!

As promised, here begins a few days of highlights from our AGM!

First up, it’s our Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards — won by Stan Buckman and Liam Grierson, respectively! 🏆

Stan is a much-loved regular at our meet-ups in The Record Factory, and his award is thoroughly deserved. A great Red and a big part of our Glasgow Reds family.

Liam, one of our many fantastic young members, has been a cracking addition to our youth ranks over recent years. We’ve now tasked him with seeing if he can “do the double” and pick up Player of the Season in the years to come!

Congratulations to both of you — thoroughly deserved! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to The Record Factory on Sunday for our AGM. We really appreciate everyone who took the time to come along and get involved. Your continued support is what makes the Glasgow Reds what they are, and it was brilliant to see the AGM so well attended and so full of enthusiasm.

We selected our new season charity and kicked off our fundraising with some amazing raffle prizes, while also looking back at everything the Glasgow Reds have been involved in throughout the 2025/2026 season and looking ahead to what promises to be another exciting year.

A massive thank you also goes to our committee for all the work that goes on behind the scenes throughout the season, and for making the AGM such an informative, relaxed and interactive day.

And, of course, the three points our Redmen brought home certainly helped make it an even better Sunday!

We'll be sharing plenty of AGM highlights over the coming days, including our Player and Young Player of the Year, charity nominations, raffle winners, photos and lots more from a fantastic day.

Keep an eye out for the highlights posts! 👀

Super Sunday! 🔴

Big day tomorrow — it’s our AGM, followed by Tunes from Andy, a buffet courtesy of The Record Factory, and then, to top it all off, our beloved Reds take on the gaffer’s old team, Bournemouth.

I don’t know what Sky Sports are on about, but this is what we call a “Super Sunday”!

Join us at The Record Factory from 12pm onwards.

Further details on the AGM, raffle prizes and charity nomination have been sent to all mailing list subscribers.

See you tomorrow, Reds!

Carabao Cup 3rd Round!

Join us to see if we can shake off Saturday's result and return to winning ways against Spurs in the Carabao Cup.

Robbo returns! We know Anfield will give him a warm welcome back, but when the whistle blows, it's game on!

De Zerbi's men are struggling in the league but put five past a much-changed Charlton in the last round.

Andoni has Joe Gomez back in the squad, and changes are expected. It's a chance for a few to find some form, and for a few of the young, promising players to get a run out too! We think this could be a stage for Trey to shine.

We'll be meeting from 7pm at The Record Factory.

See you there!
